Typhoon Odette Scares Us So Much

Hello to all steemians out there, Have a Merry Christmas to All🌲🌲🌲. Greetings coming from my family to yours. It's been how many days since my last post. Until the typhoon odette came to our place. No signal in the entire place of lapu-lapu. Im glad that today my phone catch up a signal so that I can send my post now.

December 16,2021 when typhoon odette hit our house and the whole entire lapu-lapu city, but still we are lucky because all my family members are safe. Typhoon odette was the strongest typhoon I have experienced. It was a very strong typhoon. It last more than 3 hours. At around 7:00 p.m in the evening my husband @natz04 decided to evacuate us in the near concrete house. It was the two-storey apartment of our neighbor. He make sure that we are safe there. Cause the strong wind start to blew strongly. Before we leave our house. I pack all my important documents with plastic and put it inside my knapsack then brought it to the apartment where we want to evacuated.

Inside the apartment we evacuated we still felt the blew of the strong wind. The two-storey apartment was shaked by the wind luckily it was built firmly. We are composed of four family evacuated there. We never get asleep and never stop praying. We still hear the whistle of the wind. On the second floor of the apartment we saw our house there and the big old bread fruit tree. During the strong wind blows we saw the bread fruit tree fall down. It fall down to the roof of our neighbor. But before falling to the roof it hit to our the electric current and post. Because the bread fruit tree was too big it makes our post bend and electric current cut. It scares me a lot after seeing the scenario. After 3 hours the wind calm, I take a nap for a while after being worried of what might be happened to our house.

There are lot of damages causes by typhoon odette. The roof of our house was blown away by the strong wind. But it does'nt matter because it was all replaceable. What matter most is the life of all my family members. We are thankful to the almighty God that he makes us all safe.
