Greetings to all Steemit Philippine members! I am Cris from the province of Pampanga. I am now currently living in Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher, under JET Programme. I teach at 6 elementary schools here. I have been here for five years. I am originally from the central part of Luzon Island. I was born and raised in Pampanga. My siblings still live in Pampanga. I am the only one in the family who tried my luck in a foreign country. I live here in Japan with my two children. One young lady who just turned 18 last September 30th and a boy who turned 9 last September 8th. I was living alone during my first two years here, but because of the difficulty of living away from my kids, I made the decision to petition them to live with me. The first few months of their stay here was really hard because of their inability to speak Japanese. It really broke my heart seeing my son at our veranda looking at the kids in front of our house playing. I vividly remember the words he said " I want to go back in the Philippines because I do not have friends here." his words broke my heart and I questioned myself if my decision of bringing them with me was wrong. I felt that I took my son's happiness. There were also times that my daughter didn't want to go to school and just cried. But I am glad that all of those were already in the past. Now they got used to life here and they can now speak the language better than I do. I do believe that whatever journey we have, the beginning is always the hardest and it happened to us. I am glad that with prayers and the guidance of our almighty God we managed to overcome those difficulties. Glory and praise to you oh Lord!

It's been three years since the last time we went back in the Philippines. I do hope that this pandemic will end soon so we can go back to our normal lives with no restrictions and most importantly we can go back home to see our loving families. I miss you a lot my BAYANG SINILANGAN. I am thankful to @juichi for inviting and introducing this platform to me. I am excited to share my blogs with different communities here on Steemit.
Thank you for you time reading my post. Mabuhay po tayong lahat!

Sincerely,
@crisinhach

Hello there! Welcome to steemit and steemit Philippines.

Yes, kids would just be like that at first. They would think it would be a bad idea being in foreign places because they thought they won't have any friends. To add up that it is a totally different culture would make it worse. It's a good thing as a family you have overcome those things.

Being born and raised in Pampangga, allow me to change your badge to Luzon. Hope you enjoy blogging.

lease acknowledge this post I have created for newbies.
Welcome to Steemit

Thank you for that. I am new on this site and new to blogging so I am not really knowledgeable on how to navigate and on what to post. Please be patient with me. Thank you for your comment.

You're welcome. You're a friend of @juichi right? Well, he is a Steemit legend. You're definitely in good hands, but I do have a different approach in handling newbies so you'll have the best of both worlds. Looking forward to see your DiaryGame and see the life there in Japan.

Welcome to Steemit Philippines Maam. Enjoy your stay here. 😊

Thank you sir for your never ending support.

I'm glad that they were able to adapt to the culture there. I remember my colleague used to stay in Japan and he said that he used to get bullied there . I hope that's not happening to your children. Anyway, keep safe po always!

Welcome po sa community, Enjoy!
