The Diary Game: Reunion With Them

in hive-169461 •  2 years ago

The Covid19 pandemic has affected us in so many ways including our relationship with our friends, and those you consider as family. During the lockdown, we only got to talk in-person with our families. Gladly, there are ways to communicate with our friends even some of them are deaf people.

As we are involved in sign language community, we also got to have virtual meetings with our both hearing signers and deaf friends. After two years, we got to meet them, and bond with each other physically in our town, Lingayen. That way, we won't have to go that far because it is close to our home.

At the Baywalk which at the open field, we ate a lot of foods, as well as games. The sun is already about to set here. The sea breeze is also starting to get cold.

The beach is so close that we came closer to wade in the water. The sky looks so beautiful after the sundown. It's something to be enjoyed aside from the cool breeze.

With some of our friends. They're quite far from the beach so they took it as an opportunity to get some fresh air.

My elderly deaf friend. He felt as if being freed as he enjoyed the sea. I used to see them virtually during the last two years, and this is our first time to see them in-person after two years.

They are actually deaf couple. Their daughter and grandkids came with us.

We have to walk back to the Baywalk as it begins to become dark. Thank God that we got to spend time with our friends again.

My wife and our friend. They've been very close as my wife assisted during the surgery of our friend's dad. Her father is our witness during our wedding.

At the moment, we are now allowed to meet each other. Thank God that Covid isn't that a huge threat anymore.
