Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week #5 - Filipino Food Photography : Fried Chicken

Fried Chicken
one of the favorite meal young and old Filipinos yesterday and today.
Let me use this as my second entry in Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week 5 because I believe this has been part of the history and culture.

I remember, when I was a kid, I'd love to go to a fastfood chain where fried chicken is famous every salary day of my father. I think most of the kids way back to my old days really love the tag line "isa pa nga, isa pa nga" from the line of Mr Aga Muhlach, with fried chicken leg on his hands. Philippines has abundant supplies of chickens and businessmen have different ways to propagate them for business purposes. Filipinos show passion in taking care different breeds of chicken, that is why we have common favorite food.

Now that I grow old, fried chicken is still the best fastfood to me. Since I am on a budget, I choose affordable fastfood store that could satisfy my hunger. A store that can be found anywhere in Cebu Road, though I am not paid in this commercial, but my way of paying back the satisfaction I have in this store; The Ngohiong Express.

Ngohiong express is a dimsum fastfood store, do also have fried chicken. The staffs are very accommodating and able to cater directly the needs of the customer. When I eat here, my usual choice is the chicken meal costs P 38.00 or approximately 1 US dollar. Fried chicken has been my favorite eversince and already part of my history.

Here is my picture showing that fried chicken is among the choices of some majority and this fastfood chain, Ngohiong Express can satisfy our hunger right away. This was taken right after Sunday service where we ended at 12:00nn, best time for lunch. Since Ngohiong Express can be found anywhere in Cebu Road, it is also located near our church.
