Greetings, Steemians a wonderful day! Are you interested in learning more about beading? My step-by-step glass beads-wired bracelet guide will assist you in discovering your hidden gift.

Making your own jewelry can serve a variety of purposes. Hand-making your own jewelry can easily fill that role, whether you're looking for something fun and engaging to do alone or as a group activity with friends or children. You might also discover that the meticulous attention to detail and focus required is meditative in nature, and thus beneficial for reducing stress. You can also make your jewelry to match and complement your wardrobe's outfits. Making a glass beads bracelet may appear complex, but it really isn't! You can create such fun styles and patterns just by switching up the crystals. It's a piece of cake if you have the right materials. I dare you to stop at one because it's so addicting. Just make careful you check the size of the crystals and wire before you buy the items and have a good time do-it-yourself bracelets out of beautiful glass beads!

Materials and Tools:

gold or silver beading wire (of your choice)
pcs of glass beads (sizes according to your design)
pcs of bead seeds
pcs of links
clasp and hook
jewelry or needle-nose pliers

Steps:

  • Cut an exact measurement of a piece of wire and slide a seed
bead and piece of the glass bead and another piece of seed
    bead into the wire.

  • Twist both ends of the wire to close. Do not cut the wire short. I have done this in the past and the wire rub against
my wrist and it's very irritating.

  • Next, add the seed beads and glass beads. Make a pattern, or keep it random

  • Continue the pattern until you're reached the ideal length.

  • When you think you might have enough beads, measure them on
your wrist to see if it will fit how you want it to.

  • Once you have all of the beads on the wire, put on a seed bead, bend the wire ends with jewelry pliers to close so that
it doesn’t poke into your wrist, and finally, join a clasp and you're done with your glass bead-wired bracelet!

This is an excellent opportunity to repurpose any outdated jewelry you may have. Knowing how to make your own jewelry allows you to save items in new and creative ways, whether it's a vintage piece found in a shop or given to you by a family member, or a broken piece of jewelry with sentimental value.

Handcrafted items like this make wonderful gifts because they come from the heart, which the receiver will notice and appreciate. And as you create more pieces, you may discover that you enjoy it, at which time you can explore selling your handcrafted items to augment your income.
