Team Newcomer Curator Application for December 2022

Am I qualified as a Team Newcomer Curator?

Curating an Achievement Task from Newcomers is the most challenging process among the curating team. I must say that the future Curators of Team Newcomer should be evaluated thoroughly in their account records and must avoid being biased. The previous controversies that the Newcomers Community has been facing lately should be avoided to happen again. Newly elected curators must be vigilant in detecting content farmers, plagiarists, and those who wanted to take advantage of community resources. Above all, they must be dedicated and patient in guiding the new ones.

Here is my brief Steemit History

---

I started Steemit in 2018. Since then, I have never been on any blogging site meaning I am #steemexclusive. It was in 2020, I was active again up to the present. Presently, I am one of the Philippines Country Representatives and one of the Steemit Philippines Community Admins. For a year now I've been serving the Newcomers Community Team as a greeter. I was once a member of the Steem Global curating team where we are selected for two consecutive months as curators using the @steemcurator03 account.

In real life, I am a Filipino, and I can speak Tagalog and English. I finished culinary arts and have been working as an Overseas Filipino Worker in Japan. I am married to a public school teacher and we are blessed to have two kids. Most of my content is about recipes, diaries, tutorials, teaching basic Japanese lessons, and creative writing on different topics.

Account Status

• I now have a total of 19, 098.793 steem power with a reputation of 71. I am aiming to become a Dolphin x4 by the end of this year.
• I have powered up almost all of my earned steem and I maintained my #club100 status for a long time now.

Delegation

---

I have delegated my Steem Power primarily to our mother community, the Steemit Philippines Community. And to the Steem Sea where in there are also Filipinos who posted there. I am also delegating to Steem Japan because as I was in Japan for almost 4 years, I was once a community moderator too.

Conclusion

With this new team of curators focusing on the Newcomers Achievement program, I believe that this will bring a positive contribution to the platform and hopefully may attract more users to register on Steemit. This might surely encourage the Newcomers to be active, complete all their Achievement tasks, and to find ways on how to create quality content and become a competitor for a chance to be selected as one of the top posts.
