My Verification Post - @keanne - Luzon - [12.07.2022]

Bless day Steemians! I hope you all are well.

After 6 months of saving this blogging site in my bookmark, finally, I found myself signing up and now entering the world of crypto blogging. I know it will be complicated for me to understand everything but I hope you will guide me on my journey here.

So without further ado, let me introduce myself to you.

Hi everyone, my name is Keanne. I'm 16 years old and I'm currently a Grade 11 student, strand in General Academics87 from Luzon, Philippines. Actually, I don't want to take that strand, and what I really prefer is Humanities and Social Science which is in line with the course I want to take in college, and that is criminology.

Unfortunately the school I enrolled don't have HUMS strand so I just took what is available because I don't want to look for another school and spent money on fares when there is a school right in front of our door. Yes, you read it right, my school is just 10 steps away from our apartment.

My teacher said that I can still enroll in criminology at college because the strand I took is general unlike the HUMS there is a specific specialization. I was glad when I heard it but on the other hand, my sister wants me to take a marine course. I got her point because apart from the huge salary I can get, I can also travel to different places, but what I really dream of, is to become a law officer, to be a policewoman.

I like physical activities where there is action and in fact, I was an athlete in our school. I'm a volleyball player and my position is outside-hitter.

This was taken last October in our GAS event and I'm one of the players who was chosen to play against other sections, and luckily we won 2nd place. Also, I received recognition for being the most valuable player.

The recognition was held during our acquaintance party. I was the one in the peach dress.

I also love to dance and when there is an event, I always participate but of course with the permission of my sister.

We are 4th placer out of 6 groups in the Zumbayanan contest and were happy because we received additional points to our grades. Hehe, the perks of joining extracurricular activities.

In my spare time, I crochet things, such as hairpins, keychains, and bralettes. Here are my samples.

My friends bought it after they saw my story. They said they will support my small business if I will push it. However, I can't prioritize it now yet because of schoolwork, but soon I will and maybe market here lol.

Closing Thoughts

It was challenging for me to enter crypto blogging with a lack of knowledge, but thanks to the moderator of this community I was able to understand the basics from the pinned articles.

By the way, I was invited by my sister @itsmekelzi here for a long time but I didn't push to explore because I find it hard to understand when she was explaining it, haha so I did my own research. She was active on different blogging sites but not here so I choose this site where she can't monitor me always lol.
