OFW or said to be Overseas Filipino Workers were considered as our Modern Hero. They sacrificed a lot, even they don't wanted to work away from home and fight homesickness, they still do it because of the eagerness to help the family.
My sister Mashi is one of those Heros. She is the third of the family, after she graduated, she worked as a teacher for a year, then jumped to an ESL teacher for a year also. The moment she passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers, she then decided to work abroad to help my family. Many Filipinos nowadays, go out to other countries because the salary here is really different from other country.
And by the grace of God, she was hired in one of the factories in Japan. She worked as a "baker" there and earned more than 40,000php a month or approcimately equal to 5,000steem. She is a girl who is helpful. She helped my mama in all my mama's expenses especially the study of our youngest who is now a graduating student who took up Customs.
Supposedly, she will be going home this January but her eagerness to help more stops her from going home. She applied for another working Visa in Japan and thank God she was again hired in another company which offer her bigger salary.
Last wednesday, since she was celebrating her birthday, we prepared something for her.
The moment she opened the cam, this cute little kids greet her with curiography. Then, we also let her show a short video then sing her a song. And lastly, let her blow her cake virtually.
This lady worked so hard for the family and I guess she all deserve all the blessings given by God. And I wish and pray that God will continue her to bless, protect and guide in all her decisions.
That is all for my diary. Thank you and have a great day.
wow happy birthday to your sis miga, hope she stays healthy and beautiful
