Four years ago, a pretty angel was born and was named Matheena Jade. MATHeena because her mother is a Math teacher, Athena for Goddess and Jade from one of the favorite teleserye of her mother.

That pretty angel is my daughter. The day Matheena came to my life really changed me. I became more mature and responsible. I learn how to sacrifice things for my kid. After delivering her was not really a great experience. I was able to feel post partum plus the anxiety attack. My mind is so negative and I am scared of everything. And I came to the point that I wanted to get checked by the psychiatrist. But I thank God, after praying by my prayer warriors everything went back to normal.

And I consider it as my second life. Second chance to indulge life and to spread God's goodness. And I really can't forget until today the experiences I've been through that time. That is why, I wanted to celebrate my kid's birthday even it is just simple because it is my way of thanking God for the chance He has given me.

So, the night before the bornday of Matheena we prepared everything. My parent-in-law prepare the food while me, my hubby and my sister in law do the birthday decor. I am not into like this but because of my kid I was able to do this table skirting.

And this is now our finished output. Simple yet very pleasing to the eyes. And I am sure the kids will love it.

We started the celebration with a "Mañanita". Mañanita is a spanish word but was borrowed by us Filipinos which means singing the birthday celebrant at dawn. But we haven't do it at dawn, we just waited her to wake up and sang a birthday song to her.

She was indeed very surprise, hug us and thank us. This kid is so simple, she will really appreciate even small things. That is why I am so grateful to have her as my daughter.

Since Yna's birthday falls on sunday, we just prepared a lunch to eat after the fellowship. The fellowship started with a Bible Study led by one of the men of the team.

It followed by the kid's presentation. And I am so amazed of Yna because she really wanted to sing with a microphone. Eventhough she was not familiar with the song she still manage it to sing, she just follow what they utter.

Afterwads, giving of announcement was done, followed by tithes and offering which was sung by my sis-in-law.

After the song presentation, praise and worship was done wherein we will give back God's goodness through singing songs and dancing and was led by my other sis-in-law.

The last part was every kid's wish which is to blow the candle of their birthday cake. For them, if ther were able to do it, their birthday is so special. And I am so grateful because I was able to give it to my kid.
