Today, let me share to you my first photography contest entry for this week about Travel Escapade.

If the contest is all about "Travel", I wanted to share mine because being a rider's wife I had lots of stories and memories to share. And travelling for me is really important not only to the young ones but to the once young (parents/oldies) as well especially this pandemic. And it should be travelling with safety precautions, should follow proper protocols and should observe social distancing to avoid contact to strangers.

For me, its important since from the stress we felt from Covid, our mind needs to unwind and breath fresh air for us to feel mentally healthy even the virus is attacking pur Country again. Our mental is very essential since it will affect everything especially the way we think and the way we react on things. And it can cause depression especially if our mind always think negatively.

This picture was taken when we are on our way to Alegria. Our team, Cebu Adventures Team Riders or known as CAT Riders decided to bond last June on Alegria. Our founder's relatives resides there so we decided to go to their place and have a very long ride using a motorbike. I guess it was 4-5 hours away from Lapu-Lapu where we are residing. And we called it chill ride, where no one should left behind and there is someone who is assigned to that.

I chose that picture because it was perfect. And the picture says it all. As you noticed, the riders/my team were falling in line and it has been there rule since before that's why they were considered as "The Most Discipline Riders" all over Cebu because of their behavior on the road. And I was able to witness it on the first ride I attended with my husband @jmaxswivel since he was the new recruit of the group by his friend.

We were new to the group but we never felt bored nor outcast because they really entertained us and everyone was welcoming us with a smile.

And due to the pandemic, we haven't had our planned event after our June ride because of strict implementations of protocols here in our place. And just last August 1, MECQ or also known as Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine was published where lots of restrictions was implemented again. So, our charity event where we will be giving some groceries and used clothes to the orphans with my rider's team was postponed and still waiting for further notice.
