Steemit Philippines Community Contest : Sweetest Memories

in hive-169461 •  2 years ago  (edited)

Have a good day steemit friends. This is my entry, thanks fpr giving a time to read.

This contest is the most challenging contest I ever have. It's hard for me to begin writing, it makes me emotional. I'm crying while writing this entry, hopefully you have enjoy reading my real life story about my late family.

These photos were my late family

Both of them were very closed to me. Remembering them hurt me so badly. I can't move on in our memories together.

The first photo was my graudation day before my mom passed in the 2016 because of Kidney cancer. I have only one picture with her. I was so happy in that moment, I never realized that life has ending.

We had happy memories together with my family, like she sent me to the school, walking in a kilometer just to have a quality education when I was in high school. Second, we were together with my papa in the church, serving the Lord before she was died. That was the best moment serving the Lord as a family. Actually, We have a lot of memories but I choose 2 only.

She is the best mom I ever had, who was caring and loving. When she was died, my life also change, I went different houses to feel that I have a complete family because I'm always longing of her love.
I'm so blessed because my mom taught me how to survive beacause she trained me to become independent and strong. Even she passed away, she's always in my heart.

Second, third and last photo was my half sister, Manolita, I called her Manang. My Sister was the best among my siblings, she was the only one who understand me in anyways. Especially in my study. Aside of my Aunt who supports me, my Sister also helped me in everything, I could say that she was my second mom, I'd never hesitate to ask any anything to her and she never failed to gave and provides my needs in school, but last year she was passed away that I couldn't imagine. It really broke my heart. I still remember how she was been good sister to me.

The best memories that we had ,was when we sang a worship song presentation in our church together and when she decided to have a water baptism. Secondly was my birthday celebration, since I don,'t had enough money to spent for my birthday, she did everything just to have food to eat in the celebration. I really felt her love even we were not pure blood sister.

I'm so blessed because before they died, they knew and received Jesus. Praise God.

Treasure every moment because it will turn into memories in the future.

To the God be the Glory.

Thank you @tsukoleytsss. Yes, we need to value every moment together with them, because if we never love them, it might lead us in regrets.
