I have mentioned in one of my previous blog that I have set aside the second Saturday of the month as my Temple day. A day where I go visit our our temple and worship. It is a day for recharging my spiritual energy.
During my visit this month, I met some friends whom I have not seen personally for years. It was not a very long time ago that I served as a Full time missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints and was assigned in the Pampanga area here in the Philippines.
It was a joyful reunion with them as we reminisce those moments in their place. What added more to my joy was that they were still active in church attendance and had been living their lives in the covenant path, as we call it.
The quick reunion was not complete until the photo below was taken. 😁
This is the Culala Couple. Their children are all grown ups now. They came to Cebu to visit their son who's wife is from Cebu.
During that day, my mission batchmate also visited the temple. Just so timely. We went inside the temple together.
I took a mandatory selfie with her and sent it to our other batchmates for documentation LOL. Well, moments like this are very rare so why not capture it, right?
That day I was once again spiritually recharge and had time catching up with long time friends.
What do you usually do to recharge your spirit? I would love to hear about it in the comment section below.
Thank you for reaching this far and taking the time to read.
Until next time!
Love,
Met
