My Verification Post for my account @mers - Luzon Region

Hello dear friends!

This is my reintroduction to this community. I am not new to Steemit, as a matter of fact I joined in June 2017 together with my friend @otom and co-created the FB Group SteemitPower-up.ph where we onboarded many Filipino newbies

It´s lovely to be back on Steemit and meeting my long time friends again in the platform. After a long hiatus, I decided to come back and join my friends from the Steemit Philippines Community as well as from the platform. Life had been busy on my side. it was hectic. We relocated to another district at the time when pandemic was at its peak. I Thank the Lord that we are now fully vaccinated.

I am a retiree and said goodbye to the corporate world five years ago. It was an enjoyable time working for a multinational company with lots of hectic time but with fond memories. As for my family background, I grew up with my five brothers in Manila.

Lack of space...?!

Yeah, we relocated to a newly built apartment and is smaller than the row house we have had previously. It´s a lot of work living in a bigger house with garden since it´s just me and my husband as the daughter has her own life already.

With our advanced age, lol, we cannot afford to maintain a big space due to dusting and cleaning unused rooms, plus we need to hire someone to cut our trees. The decision had been excellent, despite a smaller space, we now have much more time for other activities, plus we are closer to the Donau Auen National Park in Vienna. Since I have a small space in the new apartment, I have to keep my books and inexpensive arts somewhere.... so I decided to convert our comfort room into a gallery. Well, it turned out hubby found the idea not bad because the CR has become an interesting place. My brother said that I might not be able to come out from there anymore.

My hobbies....

I love nature and it is mostly the subject of my photography. I collect wildflowers and make the prettiest wildflower arrangements. I draw and paint a bit, I also I love to bike around the National Park, I compose poetry, am good in gardening or at least my plants are growing well under my hands....hahaha. I also do crafting, DIY, Woodworking and most of all I cook and develop recipes.

I would like to thank @loloy for giving his best and for his great work in running this community. Also to the industrious Admin @fycee for his strong determination and model role here, to @olivia08 for supporting the members in her own ways whenever she can. And last but not least... to the team, members behind Steemit Philippines, I say keep up the good work guys!
