#Club5050 | The Diary Game Season 3 (04-26-2022) | Monday Devotion on Suffering, Macbook Pro Pickup, and 2nd Power up

May the Lord grant every one of us a healthy body and mind. Today, I thought it would be nice to share my devotional, it's already Wednesday but I wrote the devotion on the 26th, that's yesterday.

I was reading Romans 5:3-5. I wrote the following in my journal after reading the verses and I also added some reflection:

_{Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.}

We rejoice in our suffering. James, the author of the book of James mentioned this in his letter as well specifically in James 1:2-4, why?

Paul states the reason. We know that suffering produced endurance and then endurance -> character -> hope. This is all because of God's love that has been poured into our hearts that we can rejoice.

Notice the verb tense, it's already been done through the Holy Spirit who has also been given to us. Again, the verb tense which already been done to us. That's why we rejoice even in suffering. The beginning of the verse tells as well that this is an addition so there's something prior to this and it is the peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ that through Him, we obtained access to this grace since we have been justified by faith as believers.

It's nice to start the day with a time with the Lord and meditating in His word because it gives me a Godly outlook, that whatever happens on that day, I know that I can endure through the grace and mercy of God who is sovereign in my life. And if there is any problem, God will produce in me, endurance and then character, but most of all, hope because He had secured my life here on earth and even the life after death. Praise be to God!

I just want to share as well that we brought Matti to a play area in SM Seaside called Kidzoona and he had a great time with his mama inside while I went out to check some parts of the mall.

Also, yesterday, I finally picked up my Macbook Pro, this is a company-issued laptop that I dropped a few weeks ago when it was first issued to me. I was worried about it but the service center covered the said unit and now I am already using a Macbook for my development environment. They say once you go, Mac, you can never go back but of course, unless it gets broken like what happened to me, I was forced to go back to using Windows!

Lastly, today, I received another payout and decided to power up once again. This is my second time powering up and I am glad to be able to do this on a weekly basis. Hopefully, I can keep up.

Before buying some Steem, I have 1.561 SBD available and 80.422 Steem Power.

It took some time for the amount to arrive in my wallet. After around three minutes, I checked that the 14.028 arrived and so I powered up half of it and the results show:

Now I have 87.422 Steem Power! I am glad about this and I am proud that I have available Steem to keep for myself. I am planning on saving this so I can buy a new camera lens.
