Hi everyone! I do hope you all are doing well today. I want to share with you what happened today as this month ends. But before that, allow me to ask you, what do you usually do when something in your life ends, like what we have right now, the month of April ends, and May is coming up real quick, what do you do when the end of the month comes? Or when you just ended a working contract, or maybe a better example is when the year ends, do you make lists of any sort, do you check and evaluate the previous month, and so on?
I just asked this because I was writing in my notebook, I don't want to call it a journal anymore because sometimes when we refer to something in its formal term, we become overwhelmed so I am calling it just a notebook and I add anything that's on my mind.
Today, I just made a recap on the notebook and checked what had I accomplished this month! I am happy to see that I was able to do the errands that I had been delaying doing such as getting my mother and brother's wristwatch fixed as well as making media content. I like to film but editing what I took is a very tedious task for me.
So what happened today as the month of April ends? Well, we spent it in the mall, bought groceries, and let our son enjoy it.
The original plan was to go to Buwakan ni Alejandra but because we woke up pretty late, we decided to buy groceries instead, our supply had already depleted so it was time to replenish the fridge.
The SM grocery store is always packed but we managed to get out faster by lining at the blue cart area where there were six tellers. We bought meat, vegetables, and canned goods, those things should be enough for our one-week supply before we head back to Oslob.
My wife does make a list but we always forget something. What we forgot this time are potatoes. Our baby loves potatoes and we were thinking already of buying a few packs of marble potatoes for him but because it was not on the list, it was skipped and so we have no potatoes for this week.
Anyway, Matti enjoyed his time at this area in Northwing where there were huge sweets and desserts displayed.
On the other hand, I got to visit Macy's finally after more than a year. I bought something for the camera. I will end this blog entry now with some information that I read in a photography book. I am glad that I was able to take photos and video clips this week too.
Light makes photography, embrace light, admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography. - George Eastman
As I was reading this, I paused at what he said, "Above all, know light". As a Christian, I relate it right away to Christ. If a person knows Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of his life, he will for sure know his worth and knows the key to the father. It's amazing that photography and being a follower of Christ relates to this topic of light.
If you are starting to practice photography, make sure to know the basics. Light again is what makes photography. Know your ISO, aperture, and shutter speed functionality.
Thanks for reading guys and see you on the next one!
To God be the glory!
