Hey guys! Before I go hit the sack, I thought I'd like to share with you some more macro shots I took this past week using my new macro lens. I had shared on the previous blog that I bought this lens for a very affordable price and I am just using it most of the time this past week.
I am blessed that my mother-in-law loves flowers and ornamental plants that I didn't have to go far to make the lens work for me. I took shots of her plants and even spotted a spider which I figured had a lot of eyes!
Nature indeed is not linear. There's always a curve in between and these images here show that. It's nice to really see these tiny details in our environment. Most of the time we just ignore them but with a macro lens, we can see these details and look at them through a different lens. It feels like I was in a different dimension while editing the images!
This flower above is a really tiny one but in the photo, it does look like this is a huge flower. It's super tiny and you must believe me! Have you seen this movie called Thumbelina? I guess I have watched it before but I can't quite remember the scenes I am pretty sure it was scary to be as tiny as these flowers and buds.
More than the scary part, it would also be an adventure to be getting drenched with dew drops! What do you think?
Here's another tiny white flower. This flowering plant is usually planted in home gardens and lawns as its flower contrasts nicely with the shrub's leaves color. I recall a moment when we were on the road and the nephew exclaimed there's snow in the plant and he was referring to this flowering shrub.
Finally, this common spider. We see this every single day, hanging on tree branches, even getting into our rooms! I just realized it got a lot of eyes in it. It somehow looks cute rather than scary!
On the image, it looked scared though and I must have frightened the little one!
That's it for today! I hope you have a good night's sleep. Take care and God bless!
To God be the glory!
