The Diary Game Season 3 (04-14-2022) | Il Corso Bonding with Matti

Hey guys! It's my first time writing a diary game. This is the first thing that my wife taught me to begin with so I am writing this today as it's a holiday. This is a throwback to our Il Corso Bonding with my wife and son, Matti.

Reaching Cebu City a few weeks ago, I noticed a lot of buildings are being constructed. It was as if the city had bloomed and probably in the next few months, there will be more to rise. One of the places that we want to check again though was Il Corso, a mall in SRP or South Road Properties.

Before my wife gave birth, we were able to visit Il Corso, and we choose to visit this because it has a wide and long bay walk as it is facing the ocean. I thought it would be a good place for Matti to walk around.

True enough, as soon as I put Matti down after parking, he started walking and running around like a free man! The disadvantage of living in a small condo unit is the lack of space and as kids need space to run and just exercise their legs and entire body, this is quite a challenge for us parents. We have to look for ways for Matti to be able to get the needed activity and so we often look for somewhere to get this done. Unfortunately, our neighborhood is not very friendly with space and there are a lot of vehicles around making it unsafe for running kids.

Matti together with his mama and me went walking from the parking lot to the play area of Il Corso. This mall is not fully opened yet although its restaurants are functional and of which accept guests, most of the spaces inside the mall are not open so it was not allowed to get inside, all customers have to be outside for now.

Matti was walking and running and he became unmanageable. He went to an escalator as he is fond of it but that was a taped one, meaning, it was not working and no one is allowed to get there so I decided to just carry him instead.

I let him play here in this boat, there were rides around and also a climbing wall but he was more interested in the water opposite to the play area so I ended up carrying him again.

We were already hungry so we decided to check the food park nearby. This is the view of the food park:

Obviously, the typhoon had destroyed some parts of the mall.

As we were passing by towards the food park, I asked the wife to take a photo of us with the huge ships at the back.

It's always good to bring a stroller when going out. Matti was tired and I got tired of carrying him around so as we passed by the parking lot again, we put Matti in the stroller and just pushed him around.

It was confusing where to get our dinner. The wife wanted some ramen but it was not a good idea to have hot soup on this humid day. So we ended up eating burgers, fries, nachos, and some nuggets for Matti at Lamesa.
