I am as old as what we now describe as my senior moments. In short, I have reached the zenith of my life and whether I like it or not, it's already the 4: O'clock of my timetable and close to my twilight zone. Well, I consider myself lucky enough to have reached the colorful stage of this technology when you just can do any alterations you wish to edit! LoL!
If you want to take a groupie then you should go to the studio for a good shot and if you want to take it somewhere say, along the school campus, then the photographer would go there for extra fee! The pictures were preserved in albums with black thick papers, each with paper clamps on 4 ends. They are considered precious so when you go to a friend's house, you can see the pile of albums under the center table of the Sala for you to glance once in a while when the host prepare some snacks for you.
That photo was sent by the "only thorn among the flowers" in that picture during our alumni group chat. That was after our choir practice in our church. He was our consistent valedictorian since first year who graduated a valedictorian since his elementary years and still a valedictorian when we graduated in highschool way back 1972. It was a year after the late president Pres. Ferdinand E
Marcos proclaimed Martial Law in the whole Philippine Archipelago!
Facing the photo, that cute girl is half Muslim. The four of them were Math wizards excluding yours truly. LoL! Isah is now a retired medical doctor and they're now enjoying their benefits as retirees. Her partner was also a doctor by profession. The next one is Marilou who was our campus figure. She was our Ms. DC (formerly Dansalan Junior College) We all graduated at Dansalan College in Highschool and Went to Mindanao State University when we entered college. Noeh is now a divinity pastor and Eunice used to be an Auditor in various mining companies. Marilou and Eunice are first cousins but they proceeded with their studies at MSU-IIT along with their future husband's because of the ongoing insurgency during that time while I went with my sister in Manila after father died (he was murdered in 1975).
The couple were both elementary teachers in MSU who were scholars and took their master's degree at Philippine Normal College and PCAT respectively in Manila while I decided to take another course (Associates in Secretarial Science) because I wanted to do office job instead of teaching. Since I was already done with my basic subjects, I only took short hand and typing subjects for one semester and I only waited for my classmates to finish the 2-year course and later joined them upon graduation.
I was 19 on that photo. The black and white photo was taken after after our volleyball competition. It may sound ironic but that was one of my happy days guys. It was a blessing in disguise for me.
That's me now at 66. Indirectly , I have noticed that old habits cannot be avoided and undone. Either it be a black and white photo or a colorful one, I still have the same comfortable angle when taking photos of myself! LoL!
Thank you for dropping by guys! Kindly don't forget your booming support for us all. I am inviting @joshuelmari, @olivia08 and @lorelie.cortes to join in this daily challenge as well.
Nice to rekindle the happy times with friends and family looking at that old photographs of young at once🥰Even though we frequently need to digest or miss the strong feelings that they are combined with, happy times are important as it keeps safe in your heart since they keep one warmth in the winds of existence and are the occasions when actual sparks of aspirations made it into the real world. Because in these instances, despite the struggles, we as humans managed to find some joy. The good times did occur. They were genuine. Good to know. To enable us to travel anywhere, we only put the best memories in our mental bags.

You're right. Memories are more than the actual photography that were instilled in our minds never to be forgotten but rather they are constantly remembered with misty eyes.
