My Unforgettable Heartache/Hearthbreak

It was the time back 1997 when I stepped up on the stairway of Davao Airport . I heard the voice crying behind me, calling me, "Mama, mingawon ko nimo!" I felt the agony of my only son, whom I left. When I turned my head back looking him while I was on the middle of the staircase, I saw him still crying. It broke my heart into a small pieces which I didn't know how to pick it as whole once again. It marked inside my heart until now. The devastation of my life on that time was enormously heartbreaking. I lost my business that brought me away from my family. I dont like to elaborate the story again. Every time I recall, the more pain I got.

That's all and thank you @steemitphilippines community.

You've supported not only your son but the whole family. They're lucky to have you as a mother , daughter and sister. God bless you more sis!

makarelate ko ana, there was one time when I am about to leave my family at the airport so I could proceed to the departure area, my 6 years youngest son whispered to me when I kiss him goodbye, "ayaw nalang lakaw dy mingawon ko nimo" grabe murag gikumot ako heart, thinking about that moment made me cry, gipahilak ko nimo ha hehe tungod sa imo entry nakahiumdum an noon ko hehe, but thwas was long time ago, I'm happy I am with my family now every single day.

Congratulatios dahil Ikaw ang isa sa "BEST COMMENT OF THE DAY" (05-26-2021). Salamat sa pagsali.

New year's Day of 2003, my Mama died due to cardiac arrest. It broke our family's heart. Her passing was unexpected. Though we knew she already had the illness but she left us so soon. She was 48 years old. We were not ready.

With her passing, our family made a drastic turn. I would see my Papa cry. Our youngest brother who was 8 years old that time, was left with no mother to take care of him though my father is there but Papa was also coping with the pain.

Many things happened after she's gone. Things that brought more pain to the family. I will not elaborate more but it is enough to say that our family was really tested with the challenges that we went through. one of those is having a way-ward brother. But God is mindful of us and he sure answer and hears our prayers.

When I think about what happened to us it always brings me to tears. But we are okay now. That is the important thing.

Oh, that was so heartbreaking, Sis. Instead of celebrating New Year's Day, you are mourning. I know how you feel. Minsan di natin maintindihan ang mga pangyayari but God has other plans for us. Lahat tayo dumadaan sa proceso ng Joy, struggle, pain and to mention a few. kasama lahat sa buhay natin yan We are just passersby in this world.

Yes po Ate. Kaya every New Year na reremind kami ng pagkawala nia.

Death knocks on your door at the most unexpected time whether we like it or not. Ang bata pa nya. Am now 64 and thanking God for giving me a longer life at puede na nya Ako kunin ngayong malalaki na sila. God bless you and your family.

Yes very young pa po talaga. death is inevitable. Parte talaga ng ating existing. Maraming salamat po Ate.

omg 48 is still so young and considering she has 8 years old son pa., I can't imagine leaving my 10 yo son that is why I am praying hard to give me more years in my life.

I hope everything is okay now with your family after so many years...

very young po tlaga, it was sudden. shocked kami lahat. ang affected sobra ung youngest brother namin. Pero ok na po kami now. May kanya2 na rin po kami pamilya. Thank you po sir.

Oh sorry to hear that.. kanya kanya talaga tayo mga heartaches pero tuloy pa rin ang buhay! AJA! hehe

Honestly I don’t really consider it as a heartbreak although since it’s kind of a failure on my part, which in a way caused a little despair or frustrations, I will share it here as my official entry to the daily comment contest “Most unforgettable Heartbreak”.

It has been my childhood dreams to become a doctor when I grow up and it’s the reason why I took up BS Biology in college.

At that time it was only Xavier University that offered such a course being preparatory for medicine proper here in Cagayan de Oro City, so it was indeed very expensive.

To cut the story short, I finished my undergrad and was very much engrossed to be in the college of medicine.

Unfortunately, I failed the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) with very few points, so that basically hinders me to enter medical school.

Out of despair I started to look for a job and was luckily hired by Mercury Drug Corporation, one of the leading drug chain of stores in the Philippines.

And so I went on with my life, putting aside my ultimate dream of becoming a doctor, because, as I still believe, God has a purpose for everything, and I also believe that He has other plans for me in His perfect time.

Buti nga ngayong wala na yang NAT in high sch. How much more for your chosen field of profession na sana. May nagpakamatay nga dyan dahil Hindi nkpasa sa exam. It's good that you accepted it as it was and moved on.

Sometimes we don't get the diamond we hope for in life because there is even more brilliance than the diamond that God provides for us.

Thank you for picking me as one of the winners for yesterday's comment of the day. I am honored. Today, I am joining again and here's my unforgettable heart break:

I was a junior student in high-school and he was a senior. The feelings we had for each other was I believe true. We were inseparable, whatever event we had in school, we were together.

Then he graduated, it was of course joyous as he graduated as the valedictorian. Everyone praised him including myself. I was.a proud GF.

Then college came, he had to go to the city and study, barely going home to visit me. He was so occupied by college and keeping up with his scholarship. His family was not rich so he had to study hard, he contacted me once in awhile though, he had no phone at that time.

But then, I was devastated when I learned he had been seeing a girl at his university. I felt my heart shattered into pieces when I learned that her name was like mine.

Aguy! Masakit yon ha at kapangalan mo pa. Buti nangyari yon habang maaga pa.

omg God kasakit but mao na ginaingon you were never meant to be, see God has given you the best husband and father to your little boy.

Oh, my! Kalami lungguan ug ulo ha. May ganyan talagang tao, lalake man o babae. CHEATER! Pasalamat ka na lang sis, you discovered it earlier kaysa dmo alam he was stabbing you at your back. Thant's life..struggles, challenges, pains, joys and merry-making as well laging may katapat yan. At least You are now happy with your husband and baby. Be grateful. God speed!

But everything happened for a reason kasi ngayon mas the best ang ibinigay ni Lord sayo... Thank you for sharing.

My Unforgettable Heartache/Hearthbreak

It was happen on the first month of the lock down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Me and my colleagues which are @irishjean29 and @bhem80 were approve to work on site however will be in the companies accomodation. That would mean that we have to be separated by our families in order to work continuously. All of us thought that it was only for 14 days since the lock down was set for 14 days only, little did we know that the pandemic will last for a little long time. Being far from my only son for the first time, left me emotionally weak within a month, I breakdown and cried during our office meeting. Homesickness and fear of the pandemic took over my rational thinking.

The good thing is my colleagues encouragement and bravery to face the pandemic stabilize my temper. Everyday during that accomodations period, they always makes me feel that I am not alone.

Then, after 5 months on the hotel accomodations we are able to go home and back to our family.

In that heartbreaking experience I realize that family means the people that is always there for your and it does not matter whether they are blood related or not, as long as they make you feel at home.

The pandemic makes me see and feels a family with my colleagues, and from now on I will always cherish them.

Spread the live everyone...
