Hi steemians have a pleasant evening, hope you are all doing good despite of the pandemic. that spread out over the world.

Spending Christmas with The Family

This is a throwback photo of my family, during our family Christmas party with my mother and my siblings together with their kids. Christmas eve is our bonding moment, those family members who were already married and have their own family will come and celebrated with us, as it is our time to reminisced our childhood and a time to spend time together. Our party will start early evening waited for the 12:o'clock midnight of Christmas.
We enjoyed so much we had games, dancing and we had our exchanging gifts that made our party more exciting. After unwrapping our gifts we were like kids comparing and showing each other's gifts that we had received. Then after our activities we shared together the foods contributed by each member of the family as we called it potluck there's an assigned menu so that we can have different kinds of foods on our table. We will missed that moment so much and i think, that will not happened again because of some circumstances happened as life goes on.

What we had every Christmas, the way how we celebrated it, was all a memories and a good story to tell to the families next generation because we had lost another member of the family after my father and two younger sisters passed away after many years. Last year my older brother a man in a white t- shirt in
the picture died because of kidney failure it was not covid related, he was the father of @lealfaith also a steemian, he was not
admitted to hospital because he was scared of covid virus. He thought he will be alone and we couldn't visit him there if he confined, he choose to stayed in our house. It was his decision to remain in the house where he took his medication but still was not saved, we were very sad by that time.

Last year Christmas of 1920, gatherings were not allowed because of the number of covid positive arising in our community and that was the first Christmas to celebrate without the presence of my brother supposed to be but because of health protocols were strictly implemented my other siblings and their kids were not able to mingle
with us also. I felt that lonely Christmas without the family to joined the celebration.

Whatever will happen stick to your family and be good to them because they will never leave in depressing moments, and find time to pray together for the family that prays together is guided by the holy spirit and away from temptations.
