"My Past and Present Christmas Experience"

It's me again stemmians and I'm trying to
maintain a one post each day here in steemit. Because If I we're late to meet steemit this year I'll be earlier to the next. I've joined stemmit this year October and I adore some pioneers here that started a long time ago. I want to imagine myself celebrating my first second third anniversary here in stemmit and many more. I can feel the support coming thru even I'm not good enough. And you know who are you thank you so much po.

And I'm not busy like the others because Christmas is just an ordinary day for us. We're just going to celebrate Christmas on the exact day and what's on the table is enough for us. Because Christmas is not about how many bonuses, 13month we've got. Or how expensive the clothes, shoes, bags etc we can buy. But on how we can handle our worst. Big and small blessings are so much to thank with, the spirit of Christmas is giving and understanding. And to be honest my entry will be a sad one but let's proceed I'll be honour to write my story here.

When month of ber comes we Filipinos already feel that's Christmas is about to start. I would please my mom to pull out our Christmas tree because I grew helping her to assemble it. It's our bonding moment together. Our Christmas tree is tall, the star at the top reach our ceiling. But she will resist because she told me that at middle of November will start to put Christmas decorations. Because my mom respects the occasion of the all souls day and all saints day. My father died when I was young I saw him catching his breath and now I'm already 34 I still remember it all.

At the middle of November mom will get the Christmas tree from our stockroom we will start arranging it. Its a happy moment decorating it the lights mom want white then the coloured one, next the garlands, the ribbons the balls the mini santa clauses and the other decorations. We also have Christmas music and the most important is the Belen.

Mom told me that Christmas is the birthday of our dear Lord. It's the reason why Christmas is so special, she told me that she will choose to have a Belen rather than a Christmas tree. After all is done she'll put some gifts under the tree, we spend a lot of hours just to finished it all. At Christmas day I'm happy to wake up because I can open the gifts mom and grandma gave me. I had a new toy, doll and they even gave me money I asked what's that's for they told me it's called Aguinaldo We also have of food on the table, we have visitors my cousins also came. It was happy Chriystmas

All I said above was the reverse of what we have right now. It's been a long time since we have our Christmas tree no gifts on the house no Belen to see baby Jesus.

But what I have now is a different kind of happiness that me and husband built. It's not a shame that we don't have Christmas tree or gifts. Let's not hug the tree if we couldn't all important is we're doing everything for our kids future. And Christmas is love, understanding and giving.
