Steemit Philippines - Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 8 (Week 2) || “SteemPro Tools Review: Enhancing the Steemit Experience

Hello friends, I really want to appreciate this community for publicizing this user interface to all of us and as well change the usual engagement challenge routine to something more practical and hands-on.

This will allow most participants to share their experience while using the STEEMPRO tool as well as having a first-hand touch and usage. To have access to this tool, we will have to click on the URL _Steempro.

From the landing page which directly places us on the home page, we have some different interfaces to navigate through and they include;

• Mass Voting
• Author Report
• Community Report
• History Check
• Curation Report
• AW (Abuse Watcher Portal)

Since the mobile App is still yet to be activated. I will be proceeding to the next interface for a guided user experience.

Mass Voting

This is an interface that allows the curator to cast votes on multiple posts. When it is clicked, it brings out another interface that displays sub-interfaces. Some of the options displayed include:

• Voter account (that is the user account)
• Private Posting Key
• Vote Weight (which determines at what percentage the user account wants to vote for the required posts)
• Links ( there is a box to accommodate more than a single link)
• then the "Start Voting" button.

Author Report

This is the next interface on the home page. This allows the user to monitor author reports in a given community. When we click on the icon, it brings out the following details immediately;

• input your steemit username
• the community name using the unique hive code
• then click on the Get Report to load information.

After a practical step, I entered my username vis-a-vis the steem4nigeria community unique code hive-147599. It displayed the following information;

• Author - @xkool24
• Posts - 0
• Comments - 1
• Unique comments - 1

Community Report

This is also the next in line from the interface. Just like the name, it is tailored to get report activity for a given community solely. Unlike what we have for an author report that captures the author's uses in the platform, the community report captures the activities of a community account.

When we enter the community unique code just as we have for steem4nigeria (hive-147599), then click on the GET REPORT button. This generates the required information needed.

Downloaded information is presented in a bar chart representing Posts, Comments, and Unique comments and as well as in numerical showcasing authors and how they relate with the community.

History Check

This is another great interface that tends to search out details about any post made on the steemit platform. By clicking on the history check interface, it loads a page with the following details;

• A column where the post URL should be pasted
• then the "CHECK HISTORY" button

A practical display of this interface was tried and it showed the URL history. The Post's day and time were explicitly displayed. For example, we have fot the post URL as **Tue Mar 07, 2023, 23:02:03 GMT +0100 (West Africa standards Time).

Another fantastic function is the REVEAL button. This button allows the user to also see what has been posted or what the entered post url got. It displays the topic, tags used, and the entire message.

Curation Report

The curation report helps in tracking curation activities done using a given user account. When this option is clicked, it brings us to another user interface with an option to enter a username and then click on the GET REPORT button.

When we enter a username and click on it, it loads some information just as seen in the image below. It makes a report presentation on bar charts, and also with the author, post link, and voting weight all shown below.

Abuse Watcher (AW)

This is the last interface on this tool. This is another interesting one that helps regulate issues of abuses in the platform. We have the following subheadings that try to anchor its searchlight. They include; Plagiarism/Spam reports, Content/Identity Lookup, Content/Identity Verification, and Report Author /Content.

• Plagiarism/Spam Report:
  This helps to update plagiarism-related reports on the platform. It represents this using a bar chart where it categorizes this report as plagiarism and photo/image plagiarism.

About the Steempro Developers

The tool steempro which can be found here was developed by the following harding users in the platform, namely;

Conclusion

I must really say this experience was worth the time. This is a tool that would allow users to quickly navigate and load information needed from the platform in a touch and in a seamless manner.
