Our pay was delayed a few days because the cutoff was on a Saturday and the HR had to process it. Some of the staff were out in the field and they are the ones who caused more delays too, their daily time records were submitted last and the bank has new rules too.
Son our cut-off was on the 12th of every month and the 14th, money should be in our ATMs but it came on the 15th.
I don't have any savings, well, except for the money I have here on Steem but I cannot withdraw it yet, I am still building it, and withdrawing is never an option(yet). I plan to grow here even if very slowly at least I am still growing. My plans for them is for my kids' college education but that'll take over ten years still so I still got a lot of time to build, build and build.
Delayed money means I and my family had to make extra tipid and sacrifices. We even actually ran out of shampoo and toothpaste. Good thing that there are a lot of Ssri-sari stores in my place and we can easily buy them. But gosh, the toothpaste was sold for 14 pesos! Grabe ang mahal, napasobra yata ang ginansya nila.
On the payday, I and my husband withdrew some of the money and bought necessities. Since our favorite store closed at that time, we went to another grocery store and bought our needs.
It was customary for me to buy dozens of toothpaste, and shampoos. No, I never buy those that are in bottles or in tubes because they might get abused. I once bought toothpaste in a tube and it never lasted for a month considering that only I and my husband used it.
Turns out he puts too much toothpaste in his toothbrush and it will all go to waste when some of it falls while he is brushing his teeth.
So here are the things that I bought
I call this haplas, LolS!
Linemment oil
I get sick often because of too cold, and I needed liniment to soothe me. whenever I get sick, my husband will give me a much-needed massage.
A dozen of toothpaste and four sachets of shampoo
I do buy a dozen sachets of toothpaste. it only costs 8 point something pesos, much cheaper compared to the 14 pesos sold in the sari-sari store.
I only bought 4 sachets f shampoo: I usually use another brand but I had to try this one because it feels more.
I have three kids and when they bathe, they empty a portion of shampoo, even I does it too; it's satisfying. lols.
Milk, more milk!
Our kid's milk is Alaska but my husband asked me to buy the bear brand, he said was craving for it and we gave it a go.
Zonrox Color safe bleach
Lately, I discovered that this bleach is more than a bleach. it creates a lot of bubbles which can help eliminate stains.
Best when used with bleach, I need it that much because the kid's clothes get so dirty after going with my mother in the farm.
Bonus
When we arrived home, my mother offered me this delicious biko, and guess what, dukot (tutong/ scorched part is the best part of this delicacy!
Best when partnered with coffee.
This will be all for today, I hope to see you all around. Keep safe!
Thank you, friend!
