Assalamualaikum..(Muslim)
Hi friends #steemit everyone how are you?
Hopefully healthy and easy sustenance for all of us
Today I visited the funeral home of the mother who died yesterday, my aunt's mother, and today is the third day after her death, and as a custom in my area, we as hosts provide food for visitors who will come to pray to the deceased and they will bring rice and alms money as they can to the bereaved family (help each other)

After arriving at the funeral home I also helped the family of the to prepare a meal, here all the neighbors have come to help prepare the food,
The ladies and moms clean the chicken meat that has been cut into pieces from unclean in the form of blood and dirt
These mothers work together in cleaning the meat and they do it until it's finished,
And then they gave him seasoning to cook rendang and some were fried.
Meanwhile in the kitchen there are fathers who are cooking rice,
Here the fathers and fathers cook rice in large quantities for needs tonight because there are people who will come to pray,
This is our custom in aceh, every time someone dies, we must visit him for 7 days and we bring alms to comfort his family who are grieving and also pray together and reward the deceased,
conclusion
In aceh the traditional culture of helping each other is still very strong and we will not waste it, every time there is a disaster or a wedding we always help each other both in terms of material and physical, this habit has been instilled since we were small by our elders.
And we are very grateful to our predecessors who have taught us many things and introduced good manners and noble manners.
hope
With our arrival at the house of the deceased, we can comfort his family, can help them, and by praying to the deceased, may Allah SWT forgive his sins and stay away from the doom of the grave and eventually get Allah's paradise.
This is how we treat corpses according to Islamic teachings and treat the families we live with well, and we do this for all people, indeed this tradition has been passed down from generation to generation in Aceh.
Thanks for dropping by
Have a nice day!!!
