There is whispering and speculation. The elderly priest disappears into the church just before the sky darkens and a shower breaks out. The bride and groom arrive. The carriage stops in front of the oak door, the couple walks across the rolled-out red carpet.

The neighbour waits. He recognized her at first sight.
