Hello steemians,

Far Into my teenage years

I was still bed wetting

Everything that should be done was done

The situation remained the same

Shaming me did not work

Alarm did not work

Starving and taking less water did not work

Urinating on glowing fire wood before sleeping did nothing

Because of this, I had to sleep on mats instead of bed

Visits are what I avoided at all cost

I don't even dare it

Visit and sleep over ........you want to kill me!

One day..my elder sister called and said she wanted me to start staying at her place

Two house helps had messed up and she thought family member will do better

The thought of babysitting my niece was nice anyway

I was not even thinking about the decision or my predicament when I accepted to move

It only dawned on me when I got to her place and was shown my mattress after dinner

Somehow I had dragged myself to a place of no return

There is no going back here

I accepted the matress and slept on it with great fear of not wetting the bed

I woke up the next morning all nice and good

My cover cloth and clothes were dry and crispy .....

I was not sneezing or catching cold from the stench or wetness of my own urine

Somehow, Sleeping on the mattress was what I have always dreaded

Unknown to me, it was all I needed to stop bed wetting !

And days became week and weeks, months and months almost became a year

Till I moved back home...and years became decades ......

All this happened because I faced my fears !

I unconsciously faced it that night !

I took the bull by the horn and discovered how timid it was

Friend.....face your fear .....face it with confidence

Face it with boldness that comes from God's word

Tell that menace an end has come !

Face it in God's name

Face it like you are ready to die

In the end......

You will only live to see your self victorious !

God who support those who trust in Him will hold you up

He would not allowed you to be put to shame

Face that fear today....face it with God's weapon and word

And you will come out victorious!
