Dear Diary
It was just like any other Friday I woke up early to a cold raining morning
So much to do, I needed to see my project supervisor in school and I also need to make it on time to a traditional wedding of a friend that is going to take place in delta state

I left for school just after having breakfast, on getting to school my project supervisor wasn’t on sit I waited for him for more than 2 hours
I was pained because I left my luggage at home and I needed to be on my way, later on he called to apologize and he explained that the reason for his absence was due to an emergency at home, we then rescheduled the meeting for another
Off I was to delta state, I left with 4 other friends it is a 3 days trip
Day1 we plan on attending the traditional wedding of the soon to b couples
Day2 this is for the white wedding and reception
Day3 is a birthday ceremony of my roommate who happens to be on this trip with me.
Since none of us can drive long distance we made our way to the popular Sapele bus park where we boarded a grey sienna, we spent more time on the road than intended, firstly the road was in bad shape and the amount of security of the road has increased due to the forth coming election
we were stuck in traffic for a while
We got to delta state sometime around 4:00 pm, we went straight to the apartment and we checked in, off we went to the traditional marriage
On getting there the marriage rights have already been concluded, we just had to settle for reception
we couldn’t eat there because of time so we had a take home, we had owo soup and starch which is one of the traditional meal of the delta people

When we got home we sat over the dinning take and made fun of ourselves over dinner
A stressful day well spent
