The Nigerian dream

I was born in the northen part of Nigeria in the early 80's. I grew up beliving in yhe Nigerian dream. My parents believed in one Nigeria and they put their sweat and life into developing the community we lived. They belived in yhe nigerian dream.

When we grew up, we discovered that that dream was a nightmare, we paid higher fees than our nortern brothers to attend thesame schools, we didn't enjoy the fact that we were born in that part of the world.

Our parents gave us northen names, to "blend us in" but the Nigeria we were born in to is divided by erthicity.

Development, and access to quality education is not evenly distributed. The Nigerian dream.

I left the North to my own state only to discover that i am not accepted because i was born and bread in in north.

Many of us who were born by average and poor parents understand what it means to "Live the Nigerian dream."

Let me hear about your expectations and your experiences and together lets make a change.

I am the Nigerian Dream!!!
