Hello, my diary.
I woke up too tired to do anything today. In fact I had to sleep back again because I could not stand up. Have you ever seen yourself awake but can’t stand?
my tired face before going to the programme
Normally, on Sundays I am supposed to be in church by 7 a.m. but here I was struggling to stand up by 6:30 a.m.
I had to tell hubby to go to church alone, that I can’t make it today. I knew my children will be looking for me in the children department. They had made me their favourite teacher.
When hubby left, I slept back another one hour and when I finally stood up, I got an extraordinary strength. I never liked the idea of staying back.
I would have stayed back but I don’t like giving up. I was motivated to just go, despite being late and missed teaching my children.
I got ready, took breakfast and went. I got to church by 9:10 a.m. when the praise and worship was going on. So, I joined to sing and dance.
After church, I left immediately because I needed to rest. I had a programme by 4p.m. so, I need to eat and sleep before then, so I would be strong enough to go.
For lunch, I made indomie noodles and eggs with fried plantain. Please pardon me for the pictures, it was so nice that I forgot to snap.
Me, hubby and my brother went for the programme. We left the house by 4:50p.m. because my brother was sleeping too much. He delayed us.
We took commercial bus from Ogbigo to presidential hotel and trek to #18 Obagi street for the programme.
When we got there, the series of prayers was ongoing and we joined immediately. The front to 8th lines of seat were filled up by people who came as early as 4 p.m. We had no choice than to sit at the second to the last roll.
The programme lasted from that time till 9:45p.m. with series of songs, testimonies, offering, announcement and preaching.
We were on our way home by 9:50 p.m.
That’s it on my Sunday diary.
