- Richie Havens
- Swami Satchidananda.
- Country Joe McDonald.
- John Sebastian
- Sweetwater
- Incredible String Band
- Bert Sommer
- Tim Hardin
- Ravi Shankar
- Melanie
- Arlo Guthrie
- Joan Baez
- Quill
- Keef Hartley Band
- Santana
- Canned Heat
- Mountain
- Janis Joplin
- Sly & The Family Stone
- Grateful Dead
- Creedence Clearwater Revival
- The Who
- Jefferson Airplane
- Joe Cocker
- Country Joe and the Fish
- Ten Years After
- The Band
- Blood, Sweat & Tears
- Johnny Winter
- Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
- Paul Butterfield Blues Band
- Sha-Na-Na
- Jimi Hendrix

ENGLISH VERSION
More than 500 thousand souls gathered, for 3 days, in a town called Bethel, 100 km from Woodstock (New York state) to celebrate one of the most emblematic concerts, not to say unmatched, in musical history and about all of rock.
From August 15 to 17, everything there was airs of freedom, short skirts, Hippie fashion, long hair, free love, pacifism and good rock.
With a total of 32 performances, the WOODSTOCK MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL was held. With a yoga practice, spiritual meditations, in the middle of a Hippie celebration, the celebration was given, influenced by the motto of love and peace, as well as the still fresh events in the memory of the Vietnam War and the student revolution of May 68 in France.
The organizers sold 200 thousand tickets, but the attendance exceeded the expectation, to 500 thousand people and some say that to one million, which limited access, so some artists had to arrive by helicopter to the stage, to that was added the rain and lack of food. But the spirit of the moment and perhaps the influence of drugs, did not let people leave the place, enjoying the music, swimming in the lake and playing with the mud.
The artists who took the stage were:
- Richie Havens
- Swami Satchidananda.
- Country Joe McDonald.
- John Sebastian
- Sweetwater
- Incredible String Band
- Bert Sommer
- Tim Hardin
- Ravi Shankar
- Melanie
- Arlo Guthrie
- Joan Baez
- Quill
- Keef Hartley Band
- Santana
- Canned Heat
- Mountain
- Janis Joplin
- Sly & The Family Stone
- Grateful Dead
- Creedence Clearwater Revival
- The Who
- Jefferson Airplane
- Joe Cocker
- Country Joe and the Fish
- Ten Years After
- The Band
- Blood, Sweat & Tears
- Johnny Winter
- Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
- Paul Butterfield Blues Band
- Sha-Na-Na
- Jimi Hendrix
As a curious note, I tell you that the couple that gave rise to the iconic image of the concert are still together 52 years later and live near the place.
It was a unique event, although other editions occurred later, they will never be able to overcome the feeling of that summer of 69. It marked an indelible mark on that generation.
It would have been wonderful to be there.
