Israel Kamakawiwo'ole canta-autor nacido en Honolulu, Hawaí Estados Unidos en el año 1959, conocido con el seudonimo de Bruddah IZ, creció en la isla paradisiaca de Waikiki, en su adolescencia junto con sus hermanos y familiares crearon un grupo musical marcando en el su bases musicales y sus estilo balada funk, Music Hawaian, en el año 1990 crea su propio grupo y lanza su álbum como solista de este álbum dos temas fueron usados en películas de Hollywood una de ellas mas que la otra, el tema que mas se ha conocido es "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" otro tema escrito por IZ fue también "What a Wonderful World" interpretado por Louis Armstrong con quien se logra la mayor cantidad de premios y récord de ventas y que muy pocas personas saben que fue creado por Bruddah IZ y que de igual forma ha sido interpretado en muchas películas famosas, por ultimo les traeré un tercer tema que también llego a ser parte de la banda sonora de una película y que pocos asocian con IZ.
