My favorite thing to do on a rainy day

Bangladesh is a country of six seasons now it is autumn (Bhadra-Ashwin) now white clouds are supposed to float in the sky, sometimes the sky will be blue but now it is as if it is monsoon season. At such a time the admin of @steem4bangladesh Sir @msharif Sir organized a contest on "My favorite thing to do on a rainy day" or what I like to do.

What is your favorite thing in the rain?

Rain is always romanticized by us. This is my writing about what makes rain exciting. We like to spend time with family in the rain. Love to eat hot hot khichuri, biryani or any yummy food. My favorite is khichuri fried egg. Because of the rain, the taste of these foods becomes nectar. Taste changes for rain.

Besides, siblings used to play ludo along with rice and nuts fried with green chillies, onions and mustard oil. They are now my habit.

Sleep:

If I was in the village, I used to fall asleep to the sound of the rain in the tin house in the rain. I think I am the happiest person in the world. Mom used to wake up forcefully to eat such sleepy food, then eat and sleep again.

Game:

As a game played in the rain, there is no substitute for football and falling while running with the ball on a slippery field. This game would not end until mother's stick was taken away. Have you ever taken a bath in a pond or a river during the rains?

Travel:

I have always loved train travel. It doesn't always rain but when it rains during the journey it adds a new dimension to the train journey.

I enjoyed the rain as a child and still do, but as I have traveled to different places over time, I see that rain is not romantic for everyone. For example, a peddler who sells goods by ferry gets into trouble with his goods. Again, I have seen that the farmer has no romantic feelings when his crops get wet. Rain is not romantic especially for busy people.

Therefore nature cannot change its characteristics. Nature runs its own course.
