Crafting of a Paper Basket

Explanation

I am going to share a paper craft with you today. In this craft, I have tried to make a basket. Let’s take a look at how I created it.

🧺 Step I

To make a paper basket, I first gathered all the necessary materials within reach. Then, I took a light green colored paper and used a cutter to cut it into ten equal paper pieces. Next, I took two pieces of paper. I applied glue to the center of one paper and adjusted the other paper over it. Then, I took another paper and shaped it like this.

🧺 Step II

After that, I applied glue to the four sides of the circular piece. Now, I adjusted the four sides of the previously prepared paper with this circle. It now looks like this.

🧺 Step III

Next, I took the remaining papers and glued one to another in this manner. It now looks like this.

I applied a little glue to the edges of these papers. Then, I adjusted the glued edges to the upper circle. In this way, I attached all the pieces to the upper circle. Now, the paper basket looks like this. From the inside, it looks very beautiful.

🧺 Step V

Around the edge of the basket’s upper circle, I applied glue. Then, I adjusted another paper over it. Now, it looks sturdy and smooth. If the basket is turned upside down, it will look just like the picture.

🧺 Step VI

I took another piece of paper and glued it to the basket in this manner. This became a handle for the basket, which allows us to carry it easily.
Now, I adjusted a pink-colored paper to the outer round edge of the basket.

Then, I took a light green-colored paper, divided it into two parts, and shaped it into a flower. I used another pink-colored paper to create a smaller flower shape. After that, I adjusted the pink flower over the light green one and attached the completed flower to the basket. By looking at the picture, you can surely understand how beautiful it looks. My paper basket is now complete.

Finally, I used a tag to capture photos of my paper basket. Then I take a selfie with my basket.

✅ How did you get the idea of making paper craft?

I don’t have much idea about paper crafts. When I came across this contest, I searched on YouTube to see how to make something beautiful with paper. That’s when I found a video about making a basket with paper. I got the idea for my basket from there.

✅ Briefly tell us how you felt while making the paper craft.

It feels great to create something new. At first, I thought I wouldn’t be able to make the paper basket. But when I managed to make it, I felt relieved. After making this basket with paper, I felt very happy. There’s truly a lot of joy in creating something new.
