I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the winter season although winter season is already ending. The warm atmosphere created by the fading cold winter winds makes celebration the ideal choice during this time. The ladies club community planned an exquisite one-dish party and Pitha Uthshob that created abundant joy and laughter as well as wonderful aromas from delicious food among one beautifully decorated space. I have come to share my experience from attending a special one-dish celebration with Pitha Uthshob that the community women organized.

I started my day before the typical time that I normally get up. I freshened up and then went immediately to prepare items for the event in the kitchen. My morning tasks centered around preparing chicken momos which I deeply cherish since I had already completed mung pakon pitha production during the previous evening. I carefully prepared the dumplings by kneading them then stuffing and folding them before making artistic decorations. I passed the dishes to collecting staff then rushed back to the restroom for a fresh change of clothes just before the program started.

Before departing from the event I took care to feed and settle my child who had risen from sleep. Due to my absence he stayed comfortably at home while I ensured his excellent care.

The event at Qayum Hall at the Officers’ Mess presented an impressive sight for all guests. Decorations beautifully adorned the room thus establishing the celebratory atmosphere for the day. The entrance revealed friendly welcoming attitudes together with meaningful conversations while being in the amazing presence of women. The mood filled with lively energy and laughter resulted in numerous photographs of our time.

The masterpiece of dishes served as the main attraction of the evening. A magnificent range of dishes presented itself to us which displayed the superb cooking skills of community women through their creations. A wide array of dishes filled the feast including pastries and puddings together with pithas of diverse kinds as well as pizza followed by singara and samosas while Swiss rolls and piyaji and gilapi and chotpoti and kababs and rolls and pancakes joined numerous sweet treats for the dessert. Each savory morsel at the event represented care and culinary skills while demonstrating dedication to the meal which made us unable to choose one as the best.

The senior-most bhabi praised my momos when she became the chief guest and savored every dish at the event. Her appreciation combined with happiness made all the effort put into cooking seem insignificant. The food disappeared completely in only a few seconds indicating how tasty everything tasted.

After eating the event continued into an interactive entertainment segment. The celebration continued through entertaining segments that included interactive games and cultural performances adding more pleasure to the entire day. We recollected at the photo booth for additional photos while maintaining continuous laughter and harmonious posing. We finished our get-together with light snacks and tea while reviewing the spectacular shared memories that had been formed.

Our hearts were filled with happiness while we brought back memories that made us thankful for our shared bonds when we returned home. The day proved to be an occasion for happiness and connection through moments of joy with close friends who understand what joyful activities really mean.

This one-dish party and Pitha Uthshob has taken an eternal position in my heart because it celebrated food together with the bonding of friendship and the joyful exchanging of laughter and love.
