The world is affected by intense heat flow

The world is burning with heat flow. Hundreds of people are losing their lives. Forests are burning and thousands of animals and birds are dying. At first, it started with two European countries, but in a very short time, it spread to different parts of the world. Europe, Africa, Asia, Bangladesh, and other regions of the world are not excluded. Europe is the most affected. Due to such adverse effects of weather, climate change is causing an environmental disaster.

Heat flow

Heat flux is a meteorological term that refers to an overheated state of the air. If the temperature of the air at a place increases for a long time (three to five days) and the humidity also increases, then it is called heat flux. According to the World Meteorological Organization, heat flux occurs when the daily average temperature of a place rises by 5°C and continues for five consecutive days. According to the calculations of the Meteorological Department, if the temperature is between 40° and 42° Celsius in an area, it is called intense heat flow. A temperature between 38° and 40° Celsius is called moderate heat flux and a temperature between 36° and 38° Celsius is called mild heat flux.

Causing increased heat flow

The atmosphere plays a major role in controlling the temperature on Earth. In this case, the atmosphere is like the roof of the house. Sunlight is the primary source of all heat and energy on Earth. Sunlight reaching the earth absorbs the surface and heats the atmosphere. Due to various human activities such as burning coal, cutting trees, black smoke from factories, etc., the amount of carbon dioxide and methane gas in the atmosphere is increasing day by day. As a result, an entire gas layer is gradually formed in the atmosphere, which does not allow the heat released from the Earth's surface to return. These gases are called greenhouse gases. Methane is the biggest contributor to temperature rise. It can hold 25% more heat than carbon dioxide. As a result, the amount of heat absorption increases, and the temperature gradually increases.

Effects of Heat on the Environment

Heat flow causes fire. A campfire is an unbridled fire that occurs in forested or pastoral areas. Hilly areas are more affected by wildfires. Warming flames gradually rise upwards and burn the forest. Humans are succumbing to death due to excessive temperature rise. Temperatures are adding as a result of climate change. As a result, people have to struggle with various adversities to survive in an agrarian economy country. As a result of this increase in temperature, the polar ice caps are melting and sea levels are rising. As a result, people are losing habitat due to coastal flooding. Therefore, the number of slums is increasing day by day in urban areas.

Effects of Heat on the human body

  1. Heart rate increases.
  2. Lowers blood pressure can cause heart failure.
  3. Can cause blood clots. Even the flow of oxygen to various vital organs of the body may be stopped.
  4. Heat flux causes excess grams which cause dehydration of the body.
  5. Feelings of headache, dizziness, etc.
  6. Blood and oxygen flow to the kidney is disturbed.
  7. Nausea occurs. It causes loss of pulse.
  8. Excess heat flow causes dehydration in the body.

Heat flow and Bangladesh

Global temperature rise has also affected Bangladesh. According to the Meteorological Department, this is extreme heat flow. Apart from this, the temperature of Dhaka and other cities is increasing due to man-made methane gas emissions. The northern part of the country is suffering from drought due to rising temperatures. As a result, there is an adverse reaction in the cultivation of irri, Aman rice in the North East region. There is no alternative to rain to avoid this natural calamity.

Ways to survive heat flux

  1. Keep the skin regularly moisturized with gentle air.
  2. Create shade at home.
  3. Avoid being outside during the full heat of the sun.
  4. Stay in cool and air-conditioned rooms most of the time.
  5. Drink moderate amounts of water. Eat more fruits and vegetables and cold foods.
  6. Get emergency medical care quickly if you feel sick.
