Introduction

Greetings to my fellow football game lovers on Steemit! Here's an interesting contest for us, asking us to write about our favorite team in this year's World Cup tournament. This has to be a patriotic, fun-filled type of contest. I personally have my favorite team, which is why I refused to be left out of this contest. Let's begin

About the 2022 World Cup

Just like it's been organized every four years in different countries, this year happens to be in Qatar. After so many matches between different countries for the qualification of this year's World Cup, 32 countries emerged and are good to go. The long-awaited day has finally arrived, and, as a matter of fact, it kicked off right away. The hosting country, Qatar, with the great Ecuador, revealed to us how it's going to be, and we all watched with great amazement.

As of now, every team, along with their supporters, is looking forward to their respective match days. Some of the fans are looking forward to seeing their favorite team and players shine; this is not a different case for me either. Here is my favorite team:

My favourite team for this year's FIFA world cup is Ghana national football team (GNF) also called the Black stars.
Now, one thing I love about Ghana national football team is their team formation/playing style. The team has been making use of 4-3-3 system (that's using 4 defenders- made up of 2 centre-backs and also 2 full-backs), 4-5-1 (that's 4 defenders, 5 midfielders and a striker and also 4-4-2 (which is 4 defenders, 2 centre-backs and 2 full-backs).
This formation alone is one thing I love about Ghana national football team.

My favorite players in Ghana National Team and Why?

In as much as I love the whole football team of Ghana there are some key players that are my favorites. Coincidentally they are all midfielders. They are:

• Thomas Partey

Here's another of my favourite defender in this team called Thomas Teye Partey. He's a professional Ghanaian footballer who plays midfield in Arsenal club in the English premier league . The 29 year old footballer is such a very well versed defensively type of midfielder. With his much stamina and also long legs (smiles) he plays energetically for the complete 90 minutes.

• Andre Ayew

Ghanaian first defender Andre Ayew is an Al-Sadd international player that defends so well too. Andre wear's Ghanaian team's captain armband. he proves to be hos team's power of strength when its about taking his teammates pleasure. he sacrifices everything possible to be victorious .

Do you have any superstitions or traditions surrounding the team?

I believe there are a lot of superstitions surrounding some football teams. In such beliefs, players are keen to win. As they say,

"With great responsibility comes doubt."

However, I don't have any kind of magical belief about my favorite team. Their paths to victory remain paved with hard work and dedication.

Have you ever attended a World Cup football game live? If so, what was the experience like? If not, have you ever wanted to watch a live World Cup game?

No. I haven't attended a live World Cup football game yet; I'm always watching on television instead. And yes, I always wanted to attend; it's been my dream.
Watching a live football game is quite different from watching it on TV; this is obvious, I guess.
To me, I would like to have the feeling of being present with fans; the atmosphere of the environment will also give me a better experience.

Do you think your favorite team will win the World Cup in 2022? Explain the reason.

Yes! I'm very optimistic about my team's chances of emerging winners in this year's World Cup tournament.
My reasons are that our players are well prepared through their constant training.
Also, they seemed to understand so much about the knowledge of the game. They are very comfortable with themselves as well, and I think this will give them the confidence to stand up and challenge any team.

Conclusion

Football will forever remain a game of love, full of challenges and opportunities. Most of the time, it's hard to predict. I mean, a small or local team can end up beating the team that was predicted to win. My favorite team might be minor or local to many, but that doesn't take away my hopes. This is the level of my optimism.

My best wishes are with the Black Stars. May victory be ours in this year's World Cup tournament of 32. One love
