Hi @mostofajaman, I'm happy to be part of this contest even if I'm dropping mine late. My username is @chisom77 and I'm a Benin-based Steemians. Today, I'm gonna share how Benin Republic looks like
Like I said in my intro, I'm a full-blooded Nigerian but based in Benin Republic where I'm currently attending to my academical pursuit.
I reside in small Government residential area (G.R.A) where houses are very expensive, prices of food stuffs are not favourable. Employment of small scale jobs are hard to find. Exchange rate for each naira transaction conversion is too poor. It is known as littoral.
This G.R.A littoral is found in Benin Republic. I'm actually talking about the popular country everybody wanna go. Before you take your flight off your country, consider the following:
Food stuff prices (they are expensive)
Houses for rent (they are expensive)
Night Movement (There's no freedom of movement. If you're caught, you go explain tire. Finally, you'll still pay 2,000,000 naira.)
Always be on ID Card (I'm talking about your International ID card otherwisely known as Yellow card. You can also use your Student ID if you're one of them).
Zero cultism (if you want to go and grow cultism there. Sorry, 155 years is waiting for you. There's no cultism there.
Be ready to look left, look right and look again. Because, no vehicle will stop for you to cross the road. You better fix yourself into any space that comes your way. If not, you go stand tire.
When you stop a cyclist, do not wait for him to come and carry your load. Carry it by yourself to meet them. They will only stop their bike, but they will not come down from the bike.
Benin Republic was formerly known as Republic of Dahomey during the colonial masters rulership France. Under the french colony then, a beautiful Port was built in Cotonou—Semi G.R.A of Benin Republic. Even railways were also developed for easy conveyance of lives and properties through a wildest moment.
Schools were built by missionaries to create civilization. This was an honest part played by this missionaries to see lives transformed.
Benin Republic gained her independence 1st August, 1960
I love my country 100%. I want my country to have the fear of God. Mostly what is practiced there is voodoo and some other kinds of limited worships instead of God.
Let's work together in love. Love is the way out.
I donate 25% beneficiary to @null account for support
I invite @mariez, @bossj23 and @basil20 to participate in this contest
