SEC-S17W3: "National Festival"

in hive-170554 •  8 months ago

Hey Steem For Bangladesh,

Ismail Shah here. I'd like to discuss happiness and joy, also known as festivals. These are priceless emotions that we typically experience only once or twice a year, often during national festivals or celebrations.

What is the national festival of your country? How did it start

Festivals and celebrations are something everyone loves. In our country, we have many festivals, each bringing happiness.

One festival that I and every citizen of Pakistan love is Eid. Eid is a three-day festival that comes after Ramadan Kareem ends. It's celebrated at the end of Ramadan. While it's sad to see Ramadan end, we're also happy because Eid gives us three days of celebration that I love.

How is this festival celebrated? Are there any special rules for celebrating it?

There isn't any special rule except one that every man must follow: to pray Eid salah. It's compulsory, and every man must perform Eid salah, which is another form of celebration.

I remember the day of Eid when we gather to pray salah is very enjoyable. Everyone goes to the open ground to pray Eid salah, although some prefer to do it in the mosque.

In Pakistan, when we go to pray Eid salah, there's another tradition - wearing everything new. People wear new clothes, new shoes, new watches, and everything new. It's quite amusing because while praying, there's someone who might steal our shoes, so many people place their shoes in front of them. Hahaha!

After completing the Eid salah, it's compulsory to hug your friends, family, and relatives. Hugging is the best thing that makes the celebration feel so good.

Are there any special outfits or foods for celebrating your national festival?

One special thing that girls love to do is applying mehndi on their hands. They do it one day before the celebration.

Similarly, both males and females wear new clothes and shoes. So, when we arrive home after completing the Eid salah, one thing we do is eat sweets. Some people prefer sweet dishes, while others simply enjoy something sweet.

Many people prefer Sheer Khurma, Gulab Jamun, and other dishes. I remember when I was a kid, I used to eat Gulab Jamun a lot!

Tell us about your favorite memory from celebrating your national festival

The best thing I still remember from my childhood is when we used to receive money from our parents. After getting the money, we would spend it on everything.

I remember my friends and I used to have parties. We would buy cakes and other dishes and enjoy them together. Those were the moments I loved the most.

Now, I still receive money from my parents and elders on Eid, but who knows when this tradition will end, as giving money on Eid is typically for kids! Let's see how many more Eid's I'll get it!

Dear @defender512,, Welcome to this contest,,

The festival of Eid is undoubtedly a day of great joy for the Muslim nation. But, those who are true believers suffer more than the joy of Eid for the farewell of Ramadan. Because the holy month of Ramadan is the month of sins, in this month those who cannot wash away their sins and free themselves from sins. They are really unlucky. But, Allah Almighty has gifted us a day of Eid full of happiness to suppress so much suffering. Keep the good work.

Hello @defender512, Thank you for sharing your experiences of celebrating Eid in Pakistan. It's delightful to hear about the traditions of wearing new clothes, enjoying sweets like Sheer Khurma, and the communal Eid salah. Your fond memories of receiving Eidi money and spending it on celebrations with friends highlight the joy and community spirit that Eid brings. Your story beautifully illustrates how this festival fosters togetherness and happiness. May your future Eids continue to be filled with such cherished moments.

Hey thanks for wishing, have a good day.

Hello friend, @defender512
We go to the Eidgah grounds for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers and mingle with many of our familiar people. Forgetting differences, Islam teaches us this. Eid means joy and we share this joy with everyone. In your country more sweet food is organized on Eid as in our country but the sweets are comparatively less. Good luck to you.

Haha I love sweets, have a good day.

Nice blog handsome keep it on

Thanks
