Distinguish between skills and talents?

While both skills and talents seem to refer to the same thing because both describe an aptitude for doing something, they both have different meanings but they work hand in hand with each other.

Below is the difference between skills and talents.

Skills Is a word that is generally used to refer to any act or something that a person becomes good at by enrollment, through frequent practice and training, a person can easily be perfect on skill through hard work and dedication, this is to say that skills quantify past performance.

Talents This is a word that is generally used to refer to something or an act that a person is naturally good at doing, this is to say that talents quantify potential and a soft skill, this is because it is a natural gift that God bestowed on a person

If you look at the above carefully, you will agree with me with no doubt that both skills and talents go hand in hand with each other, the thing that bound the two together is that most times, if a person learns a skill and the talent is no their to support and to make that person understand the pattern of that skill, the skill which the person has learned will not be unique and as a result, the person will never achieve his or her aim because at the initial place, the talent was not there to support the effort of learning the particular akill.

What talents have you been able to uncover?

As a person like me, I have several talents but the one that I have been able to uncover completely is cramped, during my primary school days, I never knew how to read but I used to come to the 2nd position in my class, I started knowing how to read at secondary school till today but the talent of cramming never depart from me and most times I do cramped to pass my exams.

Currently, anything that I take my time to study will always remain in my memory, etc

What can or should people do to unleash their talents?

There are several ways that people can unleash their talents and below are some ways:

People can unleash their talents through constant learning and always develop the attitude of learning new things to become perfect and skill improvement, that is why the adage "practice makes perfect" this is to says that a person can be perfect through practice, in the process of learning, the mistake will occur but those mistakes are there to make you perfect.

Another way that people can unleash their talents is by attending workshops with the zeal to learn and also take part in courses.

Another way that people can unleash their talents is to get mentors who can put them through, this will help improve their knowledge and will also keep them current, etc

I have a talent for making female hair Since when I was a kid, at the age of 5 years, I normally used to draw my fellow kids to me just to make their hair, sometimes I used to force them and sometimes I used to beg them with anything eatable just to make their hair.

That is how I continued making female hair up to today, I am perfect at it.

I have never gone to a saloon shop to learn how to make hair, it was a talent that God bestowed on me.
