Hello everyone here, I'm very much delighted to make my participation in this very nice contest that was hosted by @ripon0630. It is true that appreciation and apology helps to build a more positive relationship and so this contest os a good one:

Dear Francis,

I know that our marriage was not the best, we were not always in good terms with each other, there were a lot of disagreements between us but I always knew deep down that you were a great person, but due to human pride, none of us agreed to each other.

I want to let you know that I loved you so much, you were my first love and no one else has been able yo replace you. I apologize for everything and will like to say thank you, thank you for being a good father to our children, thank you for all your support. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you all these when you were still alive 😔.

I miss you so much and hope that one day God can unite the both of us again.
All our kids miss you, the kids you left for me when they were still very young, now they are very grown and supportive kids.

If I could see you again I promise you to say these things to you in person, too sad that I can only write it down here.

I know that my telling you this would make our relationship strong and we would not need to fight so much.

For our family that we built together, you served as a father, a husband, a doctor, a caregiver and more. The children still talk about you today and wish that you were still here. Many things have taken place since you left, a lot of things, good and bad, i wish you can read what I write today. But I hope one day you can read it and understand the depth of my message. I keep this letter secure for you. Have a good rest there. And thank you again for being great, sorry for all my mistakes.

What is your relationship with the person you are writing the letter to?

The letter I just wrote is dedicated to my late husband, telling him how sorry I am for not having the chance to build our relationship and to thank him for all his support back then.

Are you willing to tell the person directly what you wrote in the letter?

Yes, If it is possible to see him again I would courageously say to him all the words of my letter today.

Do you think it will have a positive effect on your relationship?

Our relationship was not the best, so I'm certain that if I could say these words to him it will have a more positive effect on our relationship.
