A man had two wives; one wife was very beautiful, and the other wife was dark-skinned and had very little hair on her head. All the housework was done by the elder wife.

One day the man left for the city. Then the younger wife got all the housework done by the elder wife. The elder wife was very simple-minded, and when all the housework was finished, the younger wife called the elder wife and said, "Comb her hair with a comb."

Then the elder wife combed her hair as the younger wife said. But when her hair got a little tight, she treated the elder wife very badly and tore out the few hairs that were on the elder wife's head. And threw her out of the house.

The elder wife went to a dense forest in sorrow. There she met a big banyan tree, and there was a lot of dirt and garbage under the banyan tree, so she cleaned the dirt and garbage. And the banyan tree was happy and said to her, I am happy to see your kindness and compassion. I am sad for you. Let go of your sadness. May you be happy.

After a while, the elder wife met another banana tree. The banana tree was leaning on the ground, so the eldest wife took a large branch and straightened the banana tree. And the banana tree was happy and said to her, I am happy to see your kindness and compassion. I am sad for you. May you be happy.

The elder wife left for her destination again, and on the way she saw a sadhu baba. And the sadhu baba knew the incident that happened to her from before and showed her a pond. And she said that she should go to the pond and take a dip and come to the sadhu baba. The elder wife took a dip as he had said and saw that she had become very beautiful. And her head was full of hair. The elder wife was very happy to see this beauty and full of hair.

Then thanked the sadhu baba. Seeing her honesty, the sadhu baba gave her a basket full of jewellery. Then she returned home, and while returning home, she met a banana tree, and that banana tree gave her a banana leaf and said that when she shakes the banana leaf, various kinds of fruits will appear in front of her.

Then she took the banana leaf from the banana wife and said goodbye and left again for home. And after walking for a while, they met the banyan tree, and the banyan tree gave her a stick and said that if she shakes it, she will get various types of cotton clothes. Hearing this, the elder wife was very happy and left for home.

When the elder wife went home, the younger wife did not recognise her and asked, Who are you? Then the elder wife introduced herself and told the details of the incident. Hearing this, the younger wife was very greedy and said that she would also go. She went to the saint, but the elder wife said to the younger wife, You are already very beautiful; you do not need to go, and then the younger wife said, No, I will go, saying that she also left for the saint. And in the same way, she went under the banyan tree. There is dirt under the banyan tree, but she does not clean it, so the banyan tree said that the one who does not remember kindness has a wicked shadow behind him.

Then, after the younger wife went a little further, she met the banana tree again. And the banana tree said to him, "Beautiful wife and beautiful wife, please help me a little. I have fallen down in yesterday's storm." But the little wife replied to the banana tree, "Why should I help you? I will get a very expensive gift from Sadhu Baba." Saying this, he left. The banana tree started cursing him and said, "Whoever does not remember kindness and compassion has a wicked shadow behind him."

The little wife went to Sadhu Baba and said, "I also want to take a dip in that pond, Sadhu Baba." When he showed her that pond, the little wife went to that pond and took a dip and saw that she became very beautiful. And she thought that if she took another dip, she would become even more beautiful. Then she took another dip and came out in terrible form. Seeing that, she cried a lot and quickly went to Sadhu Baba and said, "Baba Thakur, please restore my previous form." In response, Baba Thakur said, "You deserved this. It is the result of the jealousy and greed that were in your mind."
