Hello friends,
Today I will share with you a travel diary of Friday 27-09-24. Sharing with you where I traveled and how I enjoyed my day today.
Today is a holiday on Friday. I woke up in the morning and went to the balcony to check the weather outside because it had been raining continuously for the past few days. I saw that the sky was clear. Seeing the sky was clear, I woke up my husband because today we decided to go for a walk if the weather was good. I woke up the kids, then we all freshened up and got ready. I didn't make breakfast this morning so we ate paratha in the restaurant and left for Natore on a motorcycle.
Our journey took us almost two hours, and we finally arrived. I went to the Halti Bill of Natore, a sight of unparalleled beauty. This Halti bill is located eight kilometers northwest of Natore city. Travelers have named this Halti bill "Mini Cox's Bazar". This scene full of unique beauty is Halti Bill of Natore.
Both sides of the road are filled with water during monsoons, now the road has turned into a beach. The road is drowning in a huge body of water. Everywhere you look, there is water. The fun of walking with your feet wet in the cold water flowing over the road is very unique. Sitting on the side of the road, many people are fishing in the water of the bill with fishing rods and nets. As the water in the bill is water for about eight months of the year, there are various species of local fish here. When returning home after the trip, many tourists buy native fish. Rows of boats are tied at the ghat.
However, during the dry season, the scenario of Halti Beel is completely different. There are green paddy fields all over the bill. After a few days, it turns golden. The winds stirred millions and millions of rice ears. Much more rice than the demand is produced in this bill. The road comes back to life with the rush of vehicles on the sinking road.
We finished our tour at Halti Bill and headed towards Natore town. The weather is getting worse and there may be torrential rain anytime. A little while later, it began to pour with intensity. While we waited for the rain to stop, we stood under the shop's canopy for a while.
Nature regains its form in the rain. I was very happy to stand in front of the green paddy field and enjoy the unique beauty of the rain. After the rain stopped we reached the town of Natore.
It is now noon. After reaching Natore city, we went to the famous Islamia Pachur Hotel and Restaurant in Natore for lunch. Following a quick hand wash, we dressed and took a seat at the table. My husband ordered our food. After some time our food was served on the table. We had rice, beef, vegetable pulses, and a few items of bharta for lunch. The food was very interesting, especially the fillings.
After finishing the meal my husband paid the restaurant bill. Then we looked for a good quality sweet shop. Came to Natore, so why not get a piece of the renowned, delicious Kachagolla? My husband and I visited a store together. From there, I bought a kilogram of raw meatballs at the price of 680 Bangladeshi taka. The food is dear, the guest wants to have sweets after the Bengali meal. And if that sweet is Natore Kachagolla, then there is no question. This Kachagolla is not just the name of a sweet, it is a tradition whose popularity has spread beyond the country, even abroad. It has a special quality - it is not round, not long, and not raw either. Still, Kachagolla is the name of this sweet. This name is known everywhere in the country and abroad.
After buying sweets we left for our home. This concludes my travel blog for today. Everyone stays healthy and safe. I thank Allah for giving me these beautiful moments today.
