By the grace of Allah and the prayers of my friends, I am also well. Steem for Bangladesh community moderator @mostofajaman brother has organized the Steem For Bangladesh Contest: Food Diary Game competition. In the competition, we will be able to share with you the various nutritious foods in our daily diet. Today I will share the food diary blog of Friday, 24-01-25. Friday means a holiday. And on holidays, we try to prepare food according to our family's preferences.
One of the necessities of life is food. For any human being to survive, food is an essential component. Food contains various nutrients that provide the necessary energy to our body. However, every human being should eat a sufficient amount of food which is very healthy. Food should never be wasted.
Breakfast:
The first meal of the day starts with breakfast. That is why you have to be very careful while choosing food. If you are not aware of your breakfast, there is a risk of energy deficiency in the body. Then you feel reluctant to work. I like to eat bread for breakfast. Today was a holiday, so I woke up late. I made bread for breakfast with fried vegetables. Potato and carrot fried bread and boiled flour bread are very delicious breakfasts. To meet the protein deficiency in the body, I regularly keep boiled eggs in my diet. Bread is the main source of carbohydrates. One of the sources of energy is carbohydrates. The carbohydrates obtained from this food help the body to gain its required energy. Eating bread is very beneficial to meet the energy deficiency in the body. Minerals and vitamins can be found in veggies and bread. Their significance in maintaining our health is significant.
Fruit Time:
After breakfast, I get busy with other household chores. I started preparing for lunch. But at this time I felt a little hungry. Before lunch, I regularly eat any fruit that is in my house. Today, I had bananas at my house and one of the winter foods is saffron potatoes. saffron potatoes are a type of food that is sweet to eat. saffron potatoes contain a lot of vitamin C. Vitamin C helps keep our bodies healthy by preventing illnesses. saffron potatoes contain vitamin A, which will eliminate our eye problems. In addition, saffron potatoes keep our skin good because they are cold. Fruits like bananas are accessible throughout the year. Regular consumption of this nutrient-rich fruit helps to protect against common diseases. Bananas contain a lot of sugar, vitamins A, B, and C, calcium,and iron and have sufficient nutritional value. Bananas are easily available and cheaper than other fruits. Eating bananas increases the body's energy. It is very important to include bananas in your daily diet.
Lunch:
By now, I have finished cooking for lunch. I finished cooking for lunch, took a bath, and then offered prayers. When everyone in the house returned home after the Friday prayers, we had lunch together. Today, I cooked my children's favorite chicken biryani for lunch. I also love eating biryani. There is always a lot of food and drink during the holidays. Along with biryani, lunch also included meat stew and a mixed salad of carrots, tomatoes, and sauerkraut. Many nutrients required for our body are available from vegetables. Without eating vegetables, various diseases can develop in the human body. Therefore, for the sake of health, we should eat vegetables every day. Among the vegetables that are easily available in the market, cucumber, carrots, and tomatoes are quite popular. The vitamins, dietary fiber, and water in cucumber help in digestion. Cucumber contains vitamin K and calcium, which keep bones strong. Vitamin C, found in carrots, helps to keep teeth and gums healthy. Carrots are high in beta-carotene, which helps improve eyesight. It helps keep the retina and eye sockets healthy. Ripe tomatoes help prevent heart disease and various types of cancer. Tomatoes strengthen the functioning of the heart. Tomatoes strengthen the bones of the body. Tomatoes help cure night blindness. It helps prevent kidney stones. Ripe tomatoes also help relieve arthritis pain. It is winter. These vegetables are easily available in the market in winter. So this winter I do not make the mistake of eating a mixed salad of these vegetables. This mixed salad doubles the taste of biryani.
Afternoon Snack:
I rested for some time after lunch. Then I refreshed myself and offered Asr prayers. There is no substitute for a cup of ginger tea to relieve the fatigue of the day after Asr prayers. I refreshed my body and mind by drinking a cup of ginger tea. Then I made soup for a light breakfast. Soup is the healthiest of various foods. Soup is unmatched in providing nutrition as well as eliminating dehydration. Soup is a healthy liquid or drink. There is no comparison to soup in eliminating dehydration. Soup keeps the body hydrated as well as providing the body with necessary anti-oxidants and other nutrients. Hot soup can be prepared and eaten quickly to rejuvenate the body and mind on a cold day. Not only is it healthier, but it also helps the body replenish its energy stores and may be made and consumed faster.
Dinner:
Today, for dinner, I cooked Rui fish broth with my favorite pumpkin pills along with white rice. The perfect time to make pumpkin pills is winter. Today, I ate my favorite food for the first time in winter. Which was very fun to eat. I usually eat light meals at night I tried. But today I cooked my favorite pumpkin porridge with hot rice. Oh, it's very delicious and fun. One of the traditional rural dishes is a porridge made of lentils and pumpkin. No one can ever forget its taste after eating pumpkin porridge once. I can't miss this delicious dish at all. Today's dinner menu also included onion curry and fried potatoes. Vegetables should be eaten at dinner. Vegetables help in digestion. Since heavy food should not be eaten at night. So I have put a vegetable in the dinner menu which will help in digesting food quickly. Vegetables protect our bodies from all diseases. Nutritious vegetables act as a preventive measure for various diseases in our bodies.
The proper number of nutrients is necessary for us to remain robust and healthy. Eating a balanced diet is very important. If we do not take the necessary nutrients, the body becomes weak and easily gets affected by diseases. The body's performance decreases. So we need to keep the right amount of vitamins and nutrient-rich foods in our daily diet.
