Today I am going to participate in a beautiful contest that the honorable moderator @enamul17 of the @steem4bangladesh community has selected for us. Thanks to her, creativity is a beautiful thing, through which we can express some of our own creativity.

Contest: Crafts made of leaves

We can create our own creativity with anything or a discarded object, be it a paper or a tree leaf or a discarded material. The subject of our contest here is Leaf Craft. Many things can be made with this leaf which we can also keep as a showpiece.

Today I will not create any showpiece here, today I will share the activity that I used to decorate with plants during my childhood. We used to cook with vine leaves and make ornaments out of leaves while playing. At that time there was a trend to make watches, rings and glasses out of coconut leaves and we used to wear them. Today, after a long time, I remembered that childhood game.

So I will show each step of making them step by step.

Have to share step by step the Method of Making Leaf Craft.

What I need to make this leafcraft-

I will take only some fresh coconut leaves here

And I need a scissors to cut these leaves.

STEP 1

Here I will take some coconut leaves. Although I didn't have these plants near my house so I collected them from another house.

First I wash the leaves with water as there may be some insect larvae in the leaves which can cause allergies.
Now I will cut one by one and cut it with scissors and discard the tough sticky part of the leaf.

Many tough stick-like sections of coconut leaves are tied together to make brooms which are available in the market.

Now I will just fold the three parts of this column one by one. After dividing, the rest of the leaf will be inserted into one side of this folded part and taken out with the other part. Now the basic step of making a watch, ring and glasses is done. With these parts I will show you the leaf craft I made one by one.

STEP 3

Watch and Ring

A clock is made by taking part of a prepared leaf and putting it in one hand and inserting it into another part of the leaf. I saw this watch with more design. Similarly I will just cut a small leaf and put it on my finger. It will be a ring.

I will take three more folding leaves to make glasses. I will make two circles with a leaf. Then take two more leaves on both sides of the circle and join the two sides of the circle in the same way. Then there will be glasses.

Now if I tie all the tough parts of the leaf together with a rope then a broom will be made which can be used to sweep the house or bed.

Which craft do you find easier, paper craft or leaf craft?

Craftsmanship is made of any material.

Craft is an art, which can be made with any of our daily discarded products with our own creative talent and technique. We enjoy making these things as a hobby. Besides, we also make crafts with any natural material such as leaves, wood and other materials.

Many crafts are made by cutting leaves from trees, it is not always easy, many times leaves or branches are not available around. However, as the crafts made of leaves and branches look beautiful, the crafts made of wood can be stored as showpieces for a long time. And it's expensive.

Many crafts can be made with different colored papers which are used as wall hangings or showpieces.
Again, many crafts can be made with different colored paper and it is easily available and available anywhere. We use it as a wall hugging or show piece. We can be created anytime. Good looking and affordable. Paper crafting is also quite easy.

So making paper craft is also easy and less time consuming.
