It is Agaricus. Agaricus is a parasitic plant. They are born in damp, wet places, in rotten wood, dead trees, rotten roots stuck to the soil after the tree has been cut down. It is of various colors, white, gray brown, grey.

Agaricus is very beautiful to look at. They usually grow on the ground. Their existence can be observed around the house, in wet wood, dead trees. Agaricus has many vernacular names—like umbrella, masrum, Another name for it is fungus.

There are many species of fungi. Some species of them can be taken as food. The name of this type of fungus is mushroom. Masrum has many medicinal properties. Masrum is a very beneficial food especially for diabetic patients. Mushrooms are a healthy food because they are low in fat and sugar. Mushrooms are rich in nutrients, which help boost the body's immune system.

There are also some species of mushrooms that are poisonous, which can lead to death. Brightly colored and strong smelling mushroom species should not be eaten, as consumption of such mushrooms can lead to death.

Fungi have some common characteristics of being non-vesicular and heterotrophic organisms. They have no embryo, their reproduction is developed through renu. Agaricus is a species of mushroom that has both edible and poisonous species. Generally, all fungi that grow in moist places are used as various medicines. But it is dangerous to eat without knowing. They are beautiful to look at, and the soft, smooth petals break when handled.
