Reflect on the Past Year and Set Goals for 2024

It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to participate in this contest today organized by @damithudaya which talks about Reflect on the Past Year and Set Goals for 2024. I will be making my entry below so read through it and drop your valuable comment as it will be appreciated.

The topic is indeed a captivating one and I would love to share my participation in it. The topic of discussion, calls for everyone to have a reflection and also set a goal for the year.

What important lessons do you think you have learned in Old Year 2023?

One of the most important lessons I have learned in 2023 is patience and consistency. Joining the Steemit platform in 2023 made me have more patience and remain consistent.

As you know already, it's not very easy and encouraging to write publications without any support. So the lack of support taught me the act of patience and the future goal I had also taught me consistency.

These 2 things patience and consistency are the major things that kept me going throughout 2023 and I intend to keep it up even in this year 2024. I'm certain that the achievements I made by applying these 2 things in 2023 will be doubled in 2024.

So talking about the important lessons I learned in the just concluded year, both listed above are the ones. I'm certain that I will do better this year.

Was there something where you didn't succeed as planned?

Yes, there is something I planned but didn't succeed and that is getting admission into the university. I have always wanted to go to the university but last year aside from the money that wasn't available for me, I wasn't also able to get the required mark.

So that is one of the major things that I planned for but couldn't achieve. I'm still working so hard to achieve that this very year. I'm sure I will have this year.

Share with us what your life goals are in 2024.

The first goal I have for this year is to get admission into the university of my choice and also to grow my SP in the platform. Getting admission into the university of my choice and also growing my SP are things I will constantly work towards this very year.

I will be applying for admission again and secondly, I will also be working consistently to ensure I grow my SP this year. The target this year is to ensure that I achieve at least 5K SP.

The major way to have this is to remain consistent and to always read my book in preparation for the examination at hand. Also, write every day to achieve my goal of 5K.

What are your plans for the Steemit in 2024?

My plan for Steemit in 2024 is to build a higher SP that is to achieve at least 5K SP. With that amount of SP, I will be able to earn more curation rewards and also contribute to others by voting on their publications.

I also want to be a community curator and also a moderator in any community. So having that amount of SP is a step forward because that is the basic requirement that anyone will need to become any of the listed positions in the platform.

I'm positive that this year 2024 will be very possible for me so I will work hard to achieve that goal no matter what.
