Steemian Friends,
Today, I will show you how to repair an 18-watt LED bulb in the Steemit Learning club's home-repair club. Hopefully, mentors @rmm31 and @imranhassan of the Home Repair Club will advise me after seeing my LED bulb repair. I have shown the LED repair of an 18-watt LED bulb in my house. I hope everyone will like it.

Today, I will show you how to repair an 18-watt LED bulb in my house. I used a tester and a piece of cable without a multimeter to repair the bulb. I brought the bulb from my home to the office and repaired it. Hopefully, you can repair your LED bulbs at home by looking at my method. So, let's start the LED bulb repair.
Repair Device Name | 18 W LED Bukbs |
---|---|
Quantity | 1 Pcs |
Problem | LED Is Broken |
I first checked that the LED bulb was broken with my series board. I have shown in the video how to check with an 18-watt LED bulb series board. Hopefully, you saw in the video that the LED bulb is broken.
Then, I open the white glass before the LED bulb. I first check the LEDs are blown. I plan to repair the LED bulb in two ways. First, if the circuit is broken, then I will repair the circuit. Secondly, if one or two of the LEDs are broken, then I will repair the LED. That's why I pay close attention to each LED. I see black on both LEDs. I suspect these two black LEDs are broken. So, I will check the circuit after checking the LED. If the bulb is OK after repairing the LED, I will not check the circuit.
Then I take a piece of cable. Then, I put the bulb on the series board and checked the LED. I connected the two ends of the piece of cable to the two sides of the suspected LED. Then, all the LEDs light up. Then, I realized that the LED was broken. My suspicions are correct. Each LED bulb has LEDs connected in a series so that if one LED fails, the entire bulb does not light up. I also connected the two ends of the cable to the two ends of the two LEDs. Then, the other LEDs don't light up. Then, I assume those LEDs are good. I have shown the video and pictures by checking the LED with a single piece of cable.
I marked the damaged LED with two red inks. Then, I removed the two bad LEDs with the tester. In the video, I showed you how to remove the broken LED.
I used a soldering iron to attach the soldering wire to the broken LED. The other LEDs were connected in series, so the good LEDs lit up. I have shown in the video how to apply soldering wire with a soldering iron.
I connected the LED bulb to the series board and checked it. As soon as I gave the switch, the bulb lit up. I was able to repair the 18-watt lamp. This is the first LED bulb repair I've done with this method, so I'm very happy. I have shown the LED bulb in the video.
