SEC-S10W3: Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

Hi Steemians, The third week has started with very interesting contests. I am very thankful to the Steem For Bangladesh team for organising this beautiful contest. When a group of people work together to achieve the same goal, this is known as team work, and we can achieve our goals in a good way in a team rather than as individuals.

What does the phrase "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work" mean to you?

This phrase tells us how important teamwork is to us. To me, the phrase "teamwork makes the Dream work" means working together to achieve the same goal by cooperating with each other. And there is no doubt that teamwork is very beneficial and can bring good results for us. There is a big difference between the work of a single person and the work of a group of people, on the other hand, because a single person cannot do what a group of people can do. In teamwork, each member is assigned specific tasks, which makes our work easier and with the help of which we can achieve our goals very smoothly. The teamwork surely ensures collaborative work and makes things easy for us.

In short, when a group of people works together to achieve specific goals, they can achieve their goals in a good and smooth way rather than working individually because teamwork has a lot of power and benefits.

Yes, I have been involved in team-based work both in an online and offline environment. I am very thankful to the Steemit team for trusting me, and that is why I have been working as a community curator for many months. As a community curator, I did a lot of team-based work with experienced Steemians, and I am very happy that I learned a lot from it.

Working In a team helped us a lot to achieve our goals, like supporting quality content on Steemit. I am an admin of the Steem4Bloggers community, where I have to perform my duties, like reviewing posts, so sometimes when I get busy, I leave a message in the group, and my team starts working in place of me. From this, we can guess that teamwork makes our work easier.

In real life, I am a student, and when the time of our presentation comes, our subject teacher makes our groups, where we have to do team-based work. I am in my sixth semester, and I worked with different groups in my class to perform a presentation. On the other hand, sometimes I have to perform the presentation individually, and it is very difficult for me.

So In my class, I worked both in a team and individually, and believe me, when I worked with groups, I performed everything very well because in a team, our work is divided into parts and we have to prepare accordingly. On the other hand, I faced very difficult situations when I presented the presentations individually. So according to my experience, team-based work is the best.

What obstacles did you face in working as a team?

There are many obstacles that I faced in team-based work. The first and main obstacle was the communication issue. On the Steemit platform, I worked with people from different countries, and every country has its own language for communication, so sometimes I faced obstacles in communication.

We all know that when it is night in one part of the world, it is day in another. So the second obstacle was the time issue. We know the time zones of countries are different from each other, and several times I had to do curation after midnight, and it was all due to the different time zones of the countries.

On Steemit, every member has a different background and perspective, which sometimes leads to different opinions. Everyone has their own opinions on different matters, and I faced this obstacle a lot while working in teams. So these are some obstacles that I faced in working as a team.

Is it possible that a person can achieve more by engaging in teamwork than individually? explain

Yes, sure. I said above that teamwork has a lot of benefits. In our area, once a wise person said that 1+1 is not equal to 2, but it is equal to 11. The meaning of this was that teamwork has a lot of power. We can surely achieve more while working as a team because, in teamwork, a group of people works to achieve the same goal through their efforts. When we work individually, sometimes we lose hope. On the other hand, when we work in a team, if we lose hope, other members motivate us, and that is one of the benefits of teamwork. In short, I can confidently say that with teamwork, we can achieve more.
