Today's post about our Union Council, Sholmari, roumari, Kurigram

Hello asalamu alaikum, I hope you all are well.
Since our community is for Bangladeshis. Because of this, I will try to introduce you to everything from the edge of my country to the city town. Inshallah will present to you particular areas of our district-upazila divisional cities.

Today I will introduce you from the village to the Union Parishad.
So let me continue to share with you some pictures about the institution, As you can see the wooden pool, it is located between our village and another village on the river Jinjiram. Our village is on the bank of the river and another village is on that side. We have to cross the bridge and go towards the city, since we are people from the farthest end of Bangladesh, staying a little far from the city.

The picture describes the rickshaw stand, from here we have to take a van or a rickshaw. Our Union Parishad is about 4-5 km from here. You have to pay 15 to 20 taka to rent a car to Union Parishad, and although it is not a long distance you have to go around a lot. I will share with you a place where there is a bridge which is under construction, as a result, we have to suffer a lot.

This market is made up of six or seven villages. Here sits the market every afternoon. From where we all buy our daily essentials, curries, and food items, although it is now noon because of which I could not show you the situation of our market. There are quite a lot of people here. From here we have to fulfill our needs. All kinds of vegetables you will get here are fresh from the land, with no freezing system. In a word, everything that people need for life is stocked here and if anything is left, then we go to the upazila, otherwise, we go to Baraikandi market, everything is available there, and it is definitely bad or good in terms of vegetables and fish.

If we walk for five minutes from the market, Tekani Village Government Primary School will be in front. Here in a very beautiful environment. Since I'm in the car, I can't take a clear picture, but I have to take this picture while it's running, just presenting the logo to you.

This is the Tekanigram Jame Masjid which is still under construction, it will be a three-story building, I don't want to talk much, because there are many more things to say, to see.

As you can see in the picture, this place was originally selected for the construction of the steel bridge. We can go directly to the council from here, but we have to travel a long way, so a steel bridge will be built here so that our movement is facilitated and not disturbed. Construction began in 2020 but was disrupted by floods and restarted in 2022, ending in 2022.

As you can see this red and yellow colored building, is originally the high school of Boalmari village. Its limitation is till class eight, after that we have to go again to the upazila level or study at the district level. I studied here as a child for two years, in classes 3 and 4.

There is a building under construction at the junction of Boalmari village and Dangapara village. This building is basically a 2-story foundation mosque and is incomplete. Its construction work will start in 2022, since it will be built by everyone in exchange for a subscription, it will take a little more time.

We often come very close to the Union Parishad before we cross a small bridge which helps us a lot during floods because the roads are closed when there is a flood but many roads are passable because of the bridge. It has not been long, five years since the construction work was completed. It is a very good solution for us. It has a special role in improving the quality of life.

I have come to our desired Shaulmari Union Parishad. I will share some info with you and I will complete my work, ok then let's do it.

From here the main road starts and in front is the Union Parishad. I will try to present to you the names of the current chairman and the current members listed here. It is my first day in Sholmari Union Parishad after the election.

Before that, I inform you about the position of the union. There are two buildings in the Union Parishad. One is a building with floors, and the other is a building with rooms. Official functions are held in the attic. And from the building containing the hall room, all sorts of government grants, are kept in store for public receipt. Union Parishad is occupying 5 khata land. There were many fruit trees but now they have disappeared now only this jackfruit tree and Baroi tree are growing.
