Definition of GMP Audit
GMP is the part of quality assurance that ensures that products produced, stored and marketed are consistently manufactured and controlled according to appropriate quality standards.
Today I am writing about my company's GMP audit. First, separate audit findings of different departments are prepared.To conduct a GMP audit, an audit team must be formed. Qualified and experienced persons of the company are selected as auditors, and the audit team is made up of them. The GMP audit is done in two ways. One is the GMP Audit Schedule, and the other is the Internal Audit Plan.

GMP Audit Schedule

First, a GMP audit is scheduled, and that schedule is communicated to various departments through Gmail. Audits are conducted in various departments and areas as per the notified time and date. Like Ice Cream Production Floor, Plastic Unit, Mix Unit, Administration, Milk Unit, Chocolate Plant, Cone Baking Unit, Distribution, Engineering, Store (RM & PM Materials), Quality Assurance Department, etc.
First, the auditor approaches the manager of the department, and the manager selects an auditee. Then the auditor conducts the audit based on the audit findings. The auditor notes down all his audit findings, like cleaning, process, machine safety, personal safety, personal hygiene, etc.

Finally, the auditor marks down his audit report and submits it to the department.
The department prepares a corrective action plan based on the audit report, and the report is mailed to the GMP Audit Chairman.
